Two Dead in Wake of Tualatin Oregon Shooting

A male suspect armed with a rifle fired multiple shots, and died of what appears to be a self inflicted gun shot wound.
(TUALATIN, Ore.) -
Tualatin Police and surrounding police agencies responded to reports of an armed subject who fired shots at a Tualatin business at 11:48 a.m. The business is located in a strip mall at the intersection of SW Martinazzi Avenue and SW Warm Springs Street.
Tualatin Police Spokesperson Jennifer Massey says officers quickly secured the scene. Police quickly confirmed at least one deceased person initially, and were able to advise that the area was safe and the suspect is no longer at large.

Portland Police Investigate Alleged Gang Shooting

Police say no one is currently in custody for this shooting and detectives are following up on all leads.
(PORTLAND, Ore.) -
Portland Police officers responded to the 4800 Block of Northeast 10th Avenue today on a call of a shooting that had just happened. Portland Police Detective Mary Wheat, says law enforcement rolled onto the scene at approximately 3:40 p.m.
"When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old man that was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to an area hospital and is undergoing surgery."

Deputies Investigate Weekend Shooting

(SALEM, Ore.) -
Deputies in Marion County are investigating a shooting over the weekend that involved a 23-year old Salem man. Lt. Shelia Lorance with the sheriff's office, says a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck was brought to the hospital around 7:41 p.m. Saturday.
Lorance says the victim, 23-year old Jeffrey Gorremans of Salem, was with a friend, 22-year old Michael Stoddard of Gresham, who was arrested a short time after their arrival by Salem Police for Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Shooting Investigation in the Mt. Hood National Forest

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place Thursday night.
(MT. HOOD, Ore.) -
A report of a shooting in the Mount Hood National Forest was called into the Clackamas County Sheriffs Office Thursday night at 9:30 p.m.
The location of the shooting was a campsite off the East Salmon River Road off of Hwy 26 near Rhododendron, Oregon, according to Lieutenant Paul Steigleder II, Acting Public Information Officer with the Clackamas County Sheriffs Office.

Portland Police Investigate Shooting

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
(PORTLAND, Ore.) -
Portland Police Officers responded to the 1600 Block of Northeast Going Street today at approximately 4:30 p.m., on a report of a shooting victim that was being transported to an area hospital.
When officers arrived, they were unable to locate a crime scene and eventually located a man at an area hospital who was making statements about being shot. Portland Police Detective Mary Wheat said. "Officers went to the hospital and began interviewing the alleged victim, 19-year old Demarcus Vance, and determined that he had not been shot but had sustained a minor injury to his arm."

Marion County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 4300 block of Falcon View Way Tuesday at 5:06 p.m. regarding shots fired in the area.
Lt. Sheila Lorance with the sheriff's office says deputies arriving on the scene were unable to locate the suspects however, witnesses described two vehicles involved and reported hearing at least 8 to 9 shots fired.

Robbery Suspect Shot After Reportedly Fleeing Portland Police

The officer involved in the shooting is Russ Corno, a 16-year veteran of the Portland Police Bureau and is a member of SERT.

Portland Police say Sunday at pproximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the Red Apple Bar and Grill located at 16126 Northeast Sandy Boulevard on a call of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Portland Police Detective Mary Wheat, says officers at the scene confirmed that a man had entered the establishment with a handgun and robbed the bar.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday, just after 10:00 p.m. at 12042 Carl Road outside of Woodburn.
Deputy District Attorney Jodi Bureta says the shooting resulted in the death of a 32-year old Woodburn man whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Milwaukie Police Fatally Shoot Man Who Reportedly Had a Knife

The incident is being investigated by the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and the Clackamas County District Attorney's office.
(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) -
Two Milwaukie, Oregon Police officers shot and killed a man in the line of duty Tuesday. It happened around 4:24 p.m. at the Northridge Condos on SE Freeman Way, according to Officer Kevin Krebs with Milwaukie P.D. He says officers were responding to a welfare check involving a male subject who was bleeding and armed with a knife.
Krebs explained that the officers arriving on the scene, were confronted by that same male adult who reportedly had a knife. It happened in the parking lot of the condominiums.
