Hagg Lake Shooting Suspect Named

There is no update on the condition of either deputy injured in the shooting.

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore.) - Dante James Halling The Washington County Major Crimes Team has identified 56-year old Dante James Halling as the suspect who shot two deputies on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

Two Deputies Shot by Theft Suspect Near Hagg Lake

The suspect surrendered to deputies after sustaining gunshot wounds.

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore.) - Hagg Lake Deputies responded to a theft of a long gun at a residence on SW Scoggins Valley Rd in Gaston. It was reported that the suspect was last seen going into the woods.

While TNT members were looking for the suspect, he began shooting at them. Two deputies were shot by the suspect and multiple TNT members returned fire, injuring the suspect.

Salem Police Officer Survives Shooting at Traffic Stop

38-year old Jaime Jimenez was booked into the Marion County Correctional Facility on multiple charges

(SALEM, Ore.) - shooting According to officials, the officer, whose name has yet to be released, stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of Highland AV NE, and during the stop a male suspect shot at the officer. The suspect then fled in his vehicle.

The injured officer was transported to Salem Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

UPDATE: Two-Year Old Girl Lifeflighted After Gunshot Wound to the Head

Gun tragedy shocks South Salem

(SALEM, Ore.) - shooting Tonight about 7 o'clock, Salem Police officers responded to the 300 Block of Bradley DR SE on the report of an injured child. When officers arrived they found a two-year old girl with a gunshot wound to the head.

The girl was transported by Lifeflight to a Portland area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives are on-scene conducting an investigation.

Man Charged with Murder for Shooting in Yamhill

It all happened in the small town of Yamhill, Oregon.

(SALEM, Ore.) - RICHARD ROBERT MERSHON The suspect, Richard R Mershon, was reported to have gotten into an argument with a man that led to a physical fight. The physical fight quickly turned into a shooting, by a man that had been drinking.

Male victim number one told Police he had witnessed the suspect push a pregnant female, and she may have fallen down. The woman was apparently an employee of Zippy's Pizza, had been trying to help give the suspect a ride home because he was intoxicated.

Police Arrest Man for Murder of Kenny Kalugin

Oregon State Police SWAT was activated to assist in the arrest.

(SALEM, Ore.) - fatal shooting Shortly after 7:00 am, Friday, Salem Police officers responded to an alley west of the 1800 block of Liberty St NE on a report of an unconscious subject in a vehicle. Officers and medics located an adult male victim in a vehicle and confirmed that he was deceased.

The victim was identified as 37-year old Kenny Kalugin of Gervais. Autopsy results indicated that Kalugin died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Terrell Kyreem Johnson On Thursday June 22, 2017, a Multnomah County Grand Jury determined that a Portland Police Bureau officer was justified in the use of deadly force in the May 2017 shooting of 24-year-old Terrell Kyreem Johnson.

The grand jury determined that the use of deadly force against Johnson was a lawful exercise of self-defense under Oregon law.

Reward Offered to Solve Homicide of Ramon Harris

The Washington County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a homicide.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Ramon Harris Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies and Beaverton Police Department officers responded to the report of a shooting at the Xpose Club, located at 10270 Southwest Canyon Road in Beaverton on May 19.

Upon arrival, deputies located 34-year-old Ramon Harris outside the club suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Harris was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Salem Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

(SALEM, Ore.) - shooting investigation Arriving officers found an adult male had been shot in the residence and performed CPR on him until medics arrived and transported him to the hospital.

The victim later died at the hospital. The deceased victim has been identified as 32-year old Rodolfo Castro-Salas of Salem.
