(EUGENE, Ore.) - All six shooting victims are in stable condition and/or have been treated and released.

At this point, there is not enough to say if the event was random or targeted to individuals or a group. The only potential suspect description at this time is a male with a hoody.

This is not a simple event. Why, then, do we respond so simplistically?

Armond Harper Homicide Remains Unsolved After Three Years

The suspect ran out of the area, northbound on North Mississippi Avenue.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - October 19, 2018, just before 10 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officers responded to the report of a shooting at North Rosa Parks Way and North Albina Avenue.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located 42-year-old Armond Ramoan Harper suffering from a gunshot wound. He died early the next day.

One Man Killed by Gunshot in NE Salem

The alleged shooter is in custody.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Officers located one man who had multiple gunshot wounds. Officers closed multiple streets in the area to set up a perimeter search for involved individuals. A K-9 unit was on scene.

The injured man, identified as 29-year-old Abraham Torres Borja, was transported to Salem Health where he subsequently died from his wounds.

Detectives Investigating Tuesday Night Shooting

One gunshot victim was transported to the hospital.

(SALEM, Ore.) - While deputies were responding to the area, officers from the Salem Police Department located a victim from the shooting during a traffic stop.

An ambulance was called to the stop location and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.

Salem Man Arrested for Shooting Police Officer

Salem Police Detective Angus “Scotty” Emmons was treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem Police detectives were in their vehicle after conducting an investigation when an unknown vehicle drove up next to the detectives and several shots were fired at the detectives’ vehicle.

One of the bullets penetrated the car, striking a detective in the arm.

Hagg Lake Shooting Suspect Named

There is no update on the condition of either deputy injured in the shooting.

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore.) - The Washington County Major Crimes Team has identified 56-year old Dante James Halling as the suspect who shot two deputies on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

Two Deputies Shot by Theft Suspect Near Hagg Lake

The suspect surrendered to deputies after sustaining gunshot wounds.

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore.) - Deputies responded to a theft of a long gun at a residence on SW Scoggins Valley Rd in Gaston. It was reported that the suspect was last seen going into the woods.

While TNT members were looking for the suspect, he began shooting at them. Two deputies were shot by the suspect and multiple TNT members returned fire, injuring the suspect.

Salem Police Officer Survives Shooting at Traffic Stop

38-year old Jaime Jimenez was booked into the Marion County Correctional Facility on multiple charges

(SALEM, Ore.) - According to officials, the officer, whose name has yet to be released, stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of Highland AV NE, and during the stop a male suspect shot at the officer. The suspect then fled in his vehicle.

The injured officer was transported to Salem Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gun tragedy shocks South Salem

(SALEM, Ore.) - Tonight about 7 o'clock, Salem Police officers responded to the 300 Block of Bradley DR SE on the report of an injured child. When officers arrived they found a two-year old girl with a gunshot wound to the head.

The girl was transported by Lifeflight to a Portland area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives are on-scene conducting an investigation.
