Pre-Winter Snow Expected in Cascades This Week

Good news? Air quality should improve as the week goes on.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - snow As rain and cooler weather return to northwest Oregon and southwest Washington Wednesday and Thursday, snow levels in the Cascades will be dropping. Expect snow levels to lower to around 5500 feet by late Wednesday night, then drop to near pass levels between 4000 to 4500 feet late Thursday and Thursday night.

A few inches of snow can be expected at high elevations Wednesday and Wednesday night, then accumulating snow becomes likely at the Cascade passes Thursday through Friday.

Severed Foot Found at Yamhill County Park -Public Assistance Sought

The foot was inside a gray Nike running shoe.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - Rogers Landing Today, just before 10:00 a.m. a severed human foot was located in a dumpster at the top of the boat ramp at Roger’s Landing Park just outside Newberg. The foot was located by a citizen looking for returnable bottles.

It is believed at this time that the severed foot is the match to a foot found on the shore of the Willamette River near Champoeg Park in July of this year.

Beaverton Attorney Found Dead After Estranged Wife`s Homicide

Lemarr Carver was a criminal attorney with a former practice in Salem, Oregon

(SALEM, Ore.) - Lemarr Carver and Tricia Carver Tuesday, the woman was positively identified as Tricia Lynn Carver. An autopsy determined that her death was a homicide and the cause was by strangulation.

A search warrant brought law enforcement to the Hillsboro residence of her estranged husband, 42-year old Lemarr Carver, Wednesday night at about 9:30. When the tactical team entered the home of Mr. Carver, he was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

UPDATE: Suspicious Death of Woman Near St. Paul

If you saw anything suspicious in the area, call Detective Myers at 503-540-8096

(ST PAUL, Ore.) - Tricia Carver The body of an adult female was discovered in a field this morning, in the area of Vachter Road NE and River Road NE, near St. Paul. Deputies and detectives with the Marion County Sheriff's Office were called at about 7:00 a.m.

At this point, Detectives are investigating the case as a suspicious death.
