(SALEM) - Emergency personnel are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Salem. The location is reported to be near the intersection of Fircrest and Wiltse SE.

The law enforcement agency involved in the shooting is the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Suspect Arraigned In Salem Murder Investigation

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Salem Police Department

(SALEM) - 21 year old Pedro Delgado Suarez A 21-year old Salem man was arraigned in Marion County Circuit Court on April 22 for the April 6 murder of Andrew Entizne.

Salem Police responded to the area of Fairway Ave and Rees Hill Rd SE at approximately 3:00 am on April 6 to investigate reports of gunshots in the area.

Suspicious Objects Turn Out to be Dead Animal Carcasses

It is not known who placed suspicious containers under a freeway bridge, or why.

(SALEM) - Suspicious device in Oregon, 4-20-13 Hazardous Device Technicians with Oregon State Police removed and checked three suspicious containers Saturday afternoon.

They were located under the southbound Interstate 5 bridge over the Santiam River, near milepost 240.

(SALEM) - Takafuji Dance Company The Salem Multicultural Institute today announced the focus of the 2013 World Beat Festival is Washoi Japan! Celebrate Japan! The festival, which showcases cultural traditions from throughout the world, takes place this June 29 and 30 at Riverfront Park in Salem.

The Takafuji Dance Company will travel from Kanazawa and Tokyo to headline the festival with traditional geisha and lion dance performances.

(SALEM) - KMUZ Radio Yes, my friends, there was "life before TV". My earliest memory of radio took place when I was about three.

We were living in Brooklyn with Grandma and Grandpa Coyne while my dad was overseas in Italy. He was a soldier in WW II. My grandpa used to listen to the wartime news stooped over next to an old-fashioned boxed radio and I was a bit jealous. I was kept in my playpen and wanted out.

Salem Police Investigate Homicide

The deceased victim in this incident has been identified as 32-year old McMinnville resident Andrew Entizne.

(SALEM) - Homicide investigation Salem Police detectives are investigating a death from early in the morning on April 6.

The victim was located in a silver sedan at about 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of Fairway Dr SE and Reese Hill Rd SE following multiple reports of shots fired in the area.
