Tyranny of the Minority Sinks Meaningful Gun Control Legislation

Failed gun control legislation has again fallen victim to the tyranny of the minority.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Given the Sandy Hook school killings, the supermarket shootings near Tucson, the pleas for gun control legislation by the parents of victims, and the testimony by Gabrielle Giffords, you would think that reasonable gun control legislation would likely pass in the U.S. Senate.

Statement from Chris W. Cox on U.S. Senate Defeat of Manchin-Toomey-Schumer Amendment

We are grateful for the hard work and leadership of those Senators who chose to pursue meaningful solutions to our nation’s most pressing problems.

(WASHINGTON DC) - NRA logo Today, the misguided Manchin-Toomey-Schumer proposal failed in the U.S. Senate.

Is the Second Amendment Even Still Real?

SB13-013: Federal Agents Can Double as Local Cops in Colorado?

Feds get more power as state's governor signs progressive gun control legislation.

(SACRAMENTO, CA) - Colorado gun laws A new bill gives a special agent, uniform division officer, physical security technician, physical security specialist, or special officer of the United States secret service limited peace officer authority while working in Colorado.

$12M Invested in Background Checks

Mayors Against Illegal Guns are buying $12M in TV ads that feature a gun owner who understands that supporting background checks goes hand in hand with defending the Second Amendment - and his family.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Background checks Now that assault weapons are secure from efforts to ban them, background checks are still alive as an example of the “incremental” theory of liberal politics.

Being Right With Jesus

Much to think about, and much to do if we are sincere in our desire to be right with Jesus, in a way unlike that of the Evangelists of the GOP.

(PASO ROBLES, CA) - Jesus packing heat Mr. Reince Priebus, Head of the Republican National Committee, described President Obama’s Administration as NOT being right with Jesus, and by doing so, explicitly implied that the GOP was.
