Clackamas Deputies Retrieve Two Kids From Sweltering Car

It is estimated that the children were exposed to the heat inside the car for at least 25 minutes.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Black Jeep in Clackamas, Oregon arrest Clackamas deputies say they freed two unattended kids from a car today at the Costco parking lot on SE 84th.

It is reported that the children were in an enclosed vehicle, "with the windows rolled tight" according to Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Jim Strovink.

Stabbing Suspect Caught in California (UPDATED

Fresno Police in California arrested fugitive Jason Earl Nelson at approximately 1:00 AM July 5th, on attempted-murder charges.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Jason Earl Nelson The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a stabbing in Wilsonville.

The incident involves a 54-year old male victim; who is believed to have been stabbed by a relative, identified as Jason Earl Nelson who is now in custody.

Police Arrest Suspect in Winco Foods Assault

The victim in the case is still in a local hospital and will be facing numerous surgeries as a result of the assault.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Oregon attempted murder suspect, 23-year old Geovany Mendoza Saucedo Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives have identified the man who they believe is responsible in the assault to Bobby Burns in the parking lot at Winco Foods earlier this week, on June 6th.

23-year old Geovany Mendoza Saucedo has been arrested in Yakima, Washington on the outstanding warrant out of Clackamas County for Attempt Murder.

Horses Seized in Clackamas County Neglect Case

Police say the residence had no water, power, or phone, which also led to the suspect's 4-year old autistic son being taken into protective custody.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Horses in Clackamas, Oregon abuse case Deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant Friday at 29184 S. Benzinger Road in Colton, regarding an investigation into the neglect of four horses on the property, by their owner, April Punley.

Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office says the investigation began with a tip from a person reporting the conditions of the horses in March 2007.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Sketch of the Clackamas, Oregon assault suspect that was released today, 6 6 07 The victim assaulted earlier this morning on SE 82nd Avenue, in Clackamas County, has now been identified as 29-year old Bobby Lee Burns, described as a Native American, formerly of North Portland, now residing in the Clackamas area.

The suspect, described as a light complected Hispanic male around the age of 25, was last observed fleeing on foot southbound on SE 82nd Avenue, near SE Causey and the Ross Store.

Police say the Happy Valley Assault with an axe took place on SE 82nd Avenue.

This male patient has been transported with a severe head injury, conscious and breathing, to Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital (OHSU), in Portland.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Crash Reconstruction and Forensic Technicians are responding to investigate this double fatal crash. Road closure for this section of SE 172nd can be expected to continue until approximately 6:00 PM.

(DAMASCUS, Ore.) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two vehicle crash with two fatalities at 14700 SE 172nd Avenue, in Damascus.

An elderly male and female couple were killed on impact, they were the occupants of a sedan that crashed with a flatbed truck along this section of SE 172nd that runs north and south.

Motorcyclist Lifeflighted After Serious Crash Near Clackamas

Police have not releases the name of the rider.

(CLACKAMAS) - motorcycle Investigators say a serious motorcycle crash in the Carver curves near the intersection of 224 and 197th Wednesday serves as a reminder of how dangerous wet roads in Oregon can be for cyclists.

The crash involved a single motorist who lost control of his motorcycle as he went around a corner, hit the soft shoulder, and crashed into a concrete culvert.
