Oregon to Provide 12 Months of Continuous Postpartum Medical Coverage

Federal decision ‘critical to ensuring health and well-being of mothers and their babies’

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - newborn baby Oregon’s request to expand Medicaid and Oregon Health Plan (OHP), to one year postpartum has been approved.

The change will allow individuals to maintain access to medically necessary physical, oral and behavioral health services for 12 months after childbirth.

Brandon Matthew Nagy Convicted on Multiple Counts of Child Abuse

An infant boy suffered numerous injuries at the hands of Brandon Nagy.

(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - Brandon Nagy In early 2017, Mr. Nagy was left alone with his girlfriend’s infant son. Then, the child’s mother received a call from Nagy indicating that the boy appeared to be having a seizure. Medics arrived and discovered that numerous abusive injuries had been inflicted on the small child.

Pediatricians also discovered a healing fracture in the child’s jaw.

Ezra Mayhugh was last seen on October 15, 2021

(SALEM, Ore.) - Ezra Mayhugh Detectives with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office are seeking community tips to help locate 17-year old Ezra Mayhugh.

The young man is from the Salem area, and Detectives have learned Mayhugh may be the victim of an online catfishing scheme.

(SALEM, Ore.) - missing child The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Child Welfare Division, asks the public to help find 16-year old Marley Kay Wnorowski, a child in foster care who went missing from Pendleton, Oregon on Oct. 30. Marley is believed to possibly be in danger.

She may be in the company of Kyle Teeter, a 25-year-old male.

The couple is suspected of forcing children to ingest marijuana, and other abusive events.

Portland Man Sentenced to 60 Months in Prison for Distributing Child Pornography via Bittorrent Network

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - protect children 28-year old Jordan Thomas Prentice, of Portland, was sentenced today to 60 months in federal prison for distributing child pornography using a BitTorrent peer-to-peer file-sharing network.

Upon completion of his prison sentence, Prentice will be on supervised release for five years.

Two brothers allegedly abused by Father James Harris, one also by Father Maurice Grammond, filed a lawsuit.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - child abuse In two lawsuits filed today in U.S. District Court in Portland, two brothers, now adults, allege that their Catholic priest sexually abused them when they were children living in St. Paul, Oregon.

Father James Harris served as a Catholic priest in the St. Paul Parish in Silverton, Oregon in the mid to late 1960s when he abused the brothers and one of their childhood friends.

Sex Crimes Detectives Arrest 39-Year-Old for Abusing a Child, Possessing Child Porn

Detectives are concerned that Chandler may have victimized other children.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Ronald Nelson Chandler Portland Police Bureau Sex Crimes Unit detectives arrested a 39-year-old man Wednesday after an investigation into reported child sexual abuse and possession of child pornography.

Ronald Nelson Chandler was arrested on charges of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree, Sex Abuse in the First Degree and six counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the First Degree.
