Aug-30-2010 19:18TweetFollow @OregonNews Medical Marijuana Research by a Washington Psychologist: Surprise! It's on Rats!Dr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.comThis plan and grant must be another manifestation of REEFER MADNESS, what else could it be?
(MOLALLA, Ore.) - This medical marijuana business gets crazier by the day. The Oregonian Newspaper prints that (Dr.) Michael Morgan, a Psychology Professor at the Washington State University in Vancouver, has received a U.S. Government Grant of $128,000.00 to study interaction of morphine drugs and marijuana on lab rats. This is beyond weird. The studies have already been done many times and the lab rats won! I’m kidding about the latter. It’s probably illegal for the professor to have both the morphine and the marijuana. In addition, maybe his lab rats don’t know this but in Oregon and Washington about 20,000 human lab rats could tell him that Medical Marijuana use most frequently totally or markedly supplants/replaces the need for morphine. Poor lab rats, they will miss this. This article in The Oregonian was prompted by an exposé by U.S. Sentate candidate Dino Rossi of Washington who describes it as a “Boondoggle project” involving Federal Stimulus money and “Washington State taxpayers are tired of their money going up in smoke”. This is really funny, the REAL RATS are NOT smoking the marijuana, honestly. He continues, “This bill isn’t going to stimulate anything other than the sale of Cheetos”. This is not an advertisement for Cheetos but marijuana does cause the MUNCHIES requiring Cheetos. This plan and grant must be another manifestation of REEFER MADNESS, what else could it be? The main use of Medical Marijuana is for the relief of pain and most chronic pain victims have been prescribed morphine-like drugs for centuries. The adverse side effects of morphine are terrible and the goofyness, mental dullness, addiction and death are common. Marijuana is a much safer, very effective medicine without these adverse effects. The $128,000 would assist more than 1000 Washington State destitute, chronically ill patients with the financial means to get Medical Marijuana permits and even the marijuana medicine that the real rats do not need. REEFER MADNESS SHOWS UP AGAIN!!!
