(RWANDA) - Salem-News.com Fellow Rwandans and Friends of Rwanda, May 21, the Rwanda People’s Party (RPP) celebrated its six-year anniversary. On my own behalf and on behalf my party, the Rwanda People’s Party, (RPP), we take this opportunity to thank those committed and patriotic men and women that have been behind us for the past 6 years, despite the many challenges and the many circumstances that we have continued to operate in.

The RPP supported the removal of presidential term limits, because the party believes, that there is no link between democracy,governance and term limits.

Anxious supporters welcomed Bernie Sanders back to Oregon.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Bernie Sanders From all corners of the state of Oregon, and beyond our borders, came thousands upon thousands of people excited to hear independent U.S. senator Bernie Sanders speak, and to see him in person.

He entered with a big smile on his face, “It sure sounds like Salem, Oregon is ready for the political revolution!” The crowd responded with roaring applause. The building was filled to capacity, about 4,500.

Don't mail your ballot! Take it to an elections drop box.

(SALEM, Ore.) - ballot box All Oregon primary election ballots need to be received by Tuesday, May 17th, and the post mark date doesn't count!

To receive a ballot, you had to be a registered voter by April 26. If however, you were not registered at the time of the May Primary, you will still be eligible to vote in the November election as long as you become a current registered voter before October 18, 2016.

The Oregon Military says what took Salemites as a military event was in fact just an old plane landing.

(SALEM, Ore.) - AWACS The thundering roar of a huge military plane was heard over south Salem this afternoon, rattling windows and causing not a little intrigue into what this plane was doing here.

According to the Oregon Military Department, it is a civilian aircraft, not a military one. It may be privately owned, or being retired.
