Let's boost legislation to revamp the system.

The term "disconnect" does not seem to be in the vocabulary of those who author contracts for the cellphone firms that pretty much control the communications channels of America.
That lack of capacity to terminate a 2-year ironclad contract for a disabled consumer is nothing short of a travesty. Consumers are given two choices: either stay trapped in that contract or else die off.

Privacy and consumer organizations issued a statement on DNT.
(SAN FRANCISCO) -
The World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) "seeks to support the wide adoption of Web technologies in digital publishing contexts. . . to reinforce cooperation around well defined technical issues."
In this regard, the W3C conducts workshops around a number of technical issues. A workshop will be held in Berlin on March 11 and 12 to discuss how Do-Not-Track (DNT) mechanisms should work.

Detectives are seeking the public's help regarding this case.

February 28, 2013--Washington Sheriff's Detectives arrested a man and charged him with the 1982 homicide of Lori Billingsley who was 17-years old.
Washington County Sheriff's Detectives arrested 49-year old Kenneth Lee Hicks of Saint Helens. He was charged with the 1982 murder of Lori Billingsley.
