One Dead, Five Seriously Injured in Alcohol-Related Crash

Witnesses reported that prior to the traffic crash, the 1989 Buick struck a lamp post in the Spirit Mountain Casino parking lot.

(GRAND RONDE) - Crash scene One person died and five people received serious injuries Monday evening after a two-vehicle head-on crash on Highway 18 about four miles east of the Spirit Mountain casino.

This is the second crash at this location in the past two days involving an intoxicated driver crossing over and striking a vehicle in the oncoming lane, seriously injuring the other drivers and passengers.

Highway 18 Crash Seriously Injures Three

One driver has been charged with numerous crimes in what police describe as an alcohol-related crash.

(GRAND RONDE) - crash investigation State Police were called out early Sunday morning to a two-vehicle head-on crash on Highway 18 that seriously injured three people.

Around 12:45 AM, a red 1991 Toyota Corolla driven by 38-year-old Sean McCulloch, of Willamina, was westbound on Highway 18 when it veered across the centerline into the eastbound lane.

Driver and Passenger of Car Identified in Fatal School Bus Crash

The driver is identified as 25-year old Justin J. Gandy of Lyons. Police say his driving privileges were suspended at the time of the crash.

(LYONS) - image of vehicle involved in crash Police investigators say two men died Thursday morning after losing control of their car and crashing into a school bus on Highway 226 south of Lyons. The bus driver and two small children were not injured.

Around 11:30 AM Thursday, a northbound 1989 Nissan Sentra four-door lost control while negotiating a shaded, icy curve.

OSP Investigating Corvallis Man`s Death

According to witnesses, vehicles of interest are a white SUV, possibly a GMC Yukon, and a maroon van with tinted windows, similar to a Chevrolet Astro Van.

(CORVALLIS) - death investigation Oregon State Police are asking for the public's help related to an investigation into the death of a Corvallis man killed Saturday night when he was struck by a vehicle while on Highway 34 just east of Corvallis.

At approximately 9:30 PM, witnesses reportedly saw a man laying in the left eastbound lane of Highway 34 near milepost 1.

The male was struck by at least one vehicle and was deceased at the scene.

UPDATE: Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Crash: Five Seriously Injured

Waverly Drive is anticipated to be closed for several hours while the collision is investigated.

(ALBANY) - crash investigation A two minute pursuit began Tuesday afternoon when an Albany Police Officer attempted to stop a brown 1995 BMW near Santiam Highway and Columbus Street in Albany.

The officer says the driver refused to stop and led him on a two minute pursuit which ended in a traffic collision on Waverly Drive south of Grand Prairie Road.

The BMW collided with a 1995 Ford Mustang occupied by a lone driver.

Turner Man Critically Injured After SUV Hits Power Pole

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

(SALEM) - Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 7300 block of Battle Creek Road SE early Sunday morning on a report of a single car motor vehicle crash.

The driver, 28-year-old Sean Michael Richardson of Turner, was operating his 2002 Chevy SUV south bound on Battle Creek Road.

The accident occurred at approximately 1:18 AM when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve and went off the roadway colliding with a power pole.

Two Young Girls Seriously Injured in Saturday Morning Crash

Oregon State Police troopers from the Portland Area Command office are continuing the investigation.

(CANBY) - crash investigation Two children were injured Saturday morning after the van they were riding in lost control on an icy stretch of Highway 170 about two miles south of Canby and collided with a pickup.

Oregon State Police spokesman Lt. Gregg Hastings says at approximately 8:55 AM, a 2000 Dodge Caravan driven by 39-year-old Gina Lannin, from Canby, was eastbound on Highway 170 near milepost 12.

While negotiating a slight left-hand curve, Lannin lost control on an icy section of two lane highway and slid broadside into the westbound lane.

The passenger side of the van was struck by the front of a westbound 2004 Ford F350 pickup towing a horse trailer.

Woodburn Man Killed Along I-5 Friday Night

Alcohol is being investigated as a possible contributing factor on the victim's part.

(AURORA) - fatal crash investigation A Woodburn-area man died Friday evening after he and his car were struck by another vehicle northbound on Interstate 5 about one mile south of the Donald/Aurora interchange.

Initial investigation indicates the victim was standing next to the driver's door of his stopped car in the inside northbound lane at the time of the crash.

For an unknown reason the Nissan did not have any lights on as it was stopped in the inside northbound lane.

Five Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in West Salem

Polk County Sheriff's Deputies were investigating the accident.

(WEST SALEM) - Crash scene Salem 11507 Five people were injured Monday when four cars collided on Highway 22 at Doaks Ferry Road NW in West Salem. Salem Fire crews had to extricate a patient who was critically injured from the wreckage.

The collision happened at 7:49 PM. Of the five people injured, three were in non-serious condition, one male who was in serious condition and another male who was critical.

2-Vehicle Crash Sends Three to Oregon Health Sciences University

All three victims transported were from the same vehicle.

(SALEM) - A two-vehicle crash in Salem sent three people to Oregon Health Sciences Hospital in a life flight helicopter Saturday.

Sgt Jeff Wheeler with the Marion County Sheriff's Office says the 2:53 PM crash happened in the 9400 block of Enchanted Way SE in Salem.

The three injured people, 23-year old Sara J. Wood, 18-month old Brayson Wood, and four-year old Ethan Wood, were transported to Salem Hospital and then life flighted to OSHU.
