Man in Serious Condition After Driving off Embankment in West Salem

Paramedics say the man may have had a medical condition just prior to the accident. He was transported to Salem Hospital in serious condition.

Woman Extricated From Car in Salem Following Crash

Firefighters had to cut the roof off the car to able to remove the patient from the vehicle.

(SALEM) - Crash scene Salem, Oregon 32907 Several Salem Fire units responded to a report of a one-car accident today just before 5:00 PM.

Salem Fire Spokesman Bill Holmstrom says crews arrived on the scene to find a person trapped in the aftermath of a motor vehicle accident at Commercial Street and Fabry Street SE.

"Witnesses stated the 42-year old female was traveling south on commercial in her Kia when she veered off the road and crashed alongside some large boulders."

Habitual DUII Driver Cited Again After Sunday Crash

Oregon State Police cited the man for DUII Felony Habitual Offender (6 DUII convictions in less than 10 years).

(GRAND RONDE) - A Depoe Bay man received minor injuries and was cited by Oregon State Police to appear on multiple charges including felony DUII following a single vehicle crash Sunday afternoon along Highway 18 west of Grand Ronde.

The man who had six prior DUII convictions within the last ten years, allegedly left the scene and hid from police but was found about 30 minutes later.

Two Men Die in Head-on Crash on Hwy 26 in Oregon Coast Range

One eastbound vehicle swerved to the shoulder to avoid the pickup.

(TIMBER JUNCTION) - crash scene photo Two men died and a woman was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a head-on crash on Highway 26 about five miles west of Timber Junction.

The crash occurred as an Oregon State Police trooper was attempting to stop one of the vehicles before it crossed the centerline and crashed head-on with the other vehicle.

OSP says at approximately 5:11 PM, a citizen reported a driving complaint regarding a maroon Dodge pickup westbound on Highway 26 near Manning.

The OSP trooper came upon the Toyota after it crashed head-on with a rock wall.

(EUGENE, Ore.) - Jeremiah Nathan Wertz 30-year old Jeremiah Nathan Wertz was arrested Thursday by Oregon State Police on multiple charges related to a February 4th fatal traffic crash off Highway 126W on Richardson Road.

Keizer Man Transported to Emanuel Hospital After Motorcycle Crash

The rider apparently only sustained minor injuries.

(SALEM) - crash investigation A Keizer motorcycle rider is alive following what police describe as a high speed crash into a barn. Marion County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Kevin Rau says 22-year-old James Mullins slid up to 1,500 feet before crashing.

It happened in Keizer Monday shortly before 11:30 AM. Investigators at the scene say the bike was probably going over 100 mph when the crash happened.

Investigators say Mullins was riding his 1994 Honda CBS motorcycle northbound in the 16500 block of River Rd N when he lost control of the bike which left the roadway and crashed into a barn.

Troopers are investigating to determine if she was in the child safety seat when the car was being driven at the time of the crash.

morning at 6:40 AM by an Oregon State Police Lottery Division detective as he drove by the area.

UPDATE: Washington Man Killed Going Wrong Way on I-5 South of Salem (AUDIO)

(SALEM) - fatal head-on crash Oregon State Police troopers were called out from their residences early Friday morning to respond to a fatal traffic crash that resulted in the death of a wrong way driver after his vehicle crashed head-on with a commercial truck in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 south of Salem.

Preliminary investigation indicates a 2000 Chrysler 300 four-door driven by 45-year-old Kevin Renfrow, from Aberdeen, Washington, was southbound in the northbound lanes of I-5 near milepost 247 when it crashed head-on with a commercial truck in the center lane of three northbound lanes.

A white Chevrolet Astro van driven by 40-year old Homer Boling of Portland, was northbound on Interstate 5 Thursday at approximately 12:45 PM when, for an unknown reason, it lost control and crossed the raised center median.
