OSP Grief-Stricken by Loss of Sergeant Marcus McDowell

The manner of death has been determined to be suicide.

Sergeant McDowell was a seventeen-year veteran of this agency.

$1,000,000 in Prop/Movie Money Stolen on Oregon Coast

Prop/movie money has created issues for local businesses in the past.

Today, Secretary of State Shemia Fagan and the Oregon Audits Division released an advisory report that addresses this risk and identifies efforts Oregon state agencies can undertake to thwart it.

Brandon Matthew Nagy Convicted on Multiple Counts of Child Abuse

An infant boy suffered numerous injuries at the hands of Brandon Nagy.

(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - Brandon Nagy In early 2017, Mr. Nagy was left alone with his girlfriend’s infant son. Then, the child’s mother received a call from Nagy indicating that the boy appeared to be having a seizure. Medics arrived and discovered that numerous abusive injuries had been inflicted on the small child.

Pediatricians also discovered a healing fracture in the child’s jaw.
