Salem Man Arrested for Sex Abuse of Four Children

Detectives concerned there may be more victims

(SALEM, Ore.) - Luis Fernando Del Rio JR 35-year old Luis Fernando Del Rio JR, of Salem, was arrested after being identified as having victimized four children. Salem Police detectives conducted the investigation into allegations of sex abuse.

Since Del Rio had access to many children, detectives are concerned there may be more victims.

Coldest Days of Winter May Lie Ahead

How much snow will fall and where remains highly uncertain at this point.

Oregon restaurant fined over $9,000 for COVID-19 violations, including willfully exposing workers.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Along Came Trudy LLC In one of the violations, Along Came Trudy LLC willfully continued to potentially expose workers to the virus despite a public health order limiting the capacity for indoor dining to zero in an “extreme risk” county.

The total fine of $9,215 is the result of an inspection launched in response to multiple complaints about Along Came Trudy.

Community update on double murder suspect after cases dismissed

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Demetruis Ray Brown Community Update: regarding the criminal cases involving 26-year-old Demetruis Ray Brown -- the suspect in two separate murders, an attempted murder, and one in-custody assault.

On January 14, 2021, a Multnomah County Circuit Court judge issued an opinion and order finding Brown unfit to proceed to trial, as defined in ORS 161.360.

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Suspected in Death of Father and Daughter

Each year in the United States there are at least 430 accidental deaths due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
