(SALEM, Ore.) - Our major infrastructures in this country are failing! We have systems in place to keep us safe and yet we are not caring for them the way we should and creating systems that are a danger to us all.

Let’s look at those major systems and what we need to do to make them safer for us.

Danger Where You Live

We are all breathing in a lot of air, but what is in that air? Is it helping or hindering your health?

The bridge structure, including deck panels, rib arches and other infrastructure is now self supporting. Still to be completed are the bridge deck surface, structure tensioning, and removal of the temporary work bridge.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The Community Action Agency will activate a Warming Center Sunday, January 1 at: 625 Marion Street NE.

The Warming Center will be activated for four consecutive nights from Sunday, January 1 through Wednesday, January 4. The center will be open each night from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the next morning. Warm liquids (decaf coffee, tea, and bullion) will be served on site.
