(SALEM, Ore.) - In this video segment Dr. Leveque discuss a number of questions sent in by our viewers via email and comments left on the actual stories.

One man wants to know what a person has to go through in order to become a medical marijuana "caregiver." Leveque says a person can be a caregiver under Oregon State Law if a patient lists them that way. Every patient is entitled to a caregiver, and the person can then transport marijuana legally and grow it on behalf of the patient.

Leveque is asked if marijuana is a "miracle drug" and why it works for so many different illnesses. Leveque talks about the way marijuana affects cell memory and has an effect all over a person's body.

They also talk about a current news item; a man in Keizer, Oregon who had his marijuana stolen amid reports of a man with a gun being sighted on his property. It poses the question, are police responsible for enforcing stolen marijuana plants? The answer is yes, Leveque talks about the details on how police have traditionally responded to such matters.

In fact, Leveque says there was a time in the United States when marijuana was used to legally in the United States by doctors to treat more than 100 different diseases.
