Arnold Schwarzenegger Says Marijuana is Just a Leaf

Schwarzenegger admits smoking marijuana in the 1970s.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger

(SACRAMENTO) - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger opened a few eyeballs recently by telling GQ magazine that marijuana is not a drug.

The remark Schwarzenegger made over marijuana use was, "That is not a drug. It's a leaf." Schwarzenegger added, "My drug was pumping iron, trust me."

His spokesman said the comment was meant as a joke, it comes at a time when the argument over keeping marijuana in a criminal category is raging.

Even more interestingly, the Governor made a statement backing people like Salem-News.com's Dr. Phil Leveque, who contend that this natural herb is not a drug in the first place. Schwarzenegger admits smoking marijuana in the 1970s.

The other thing this movie star turned politician stated is that he refuses to condemn politicians who decline to answer questions about drug use.

How does legalizing marijuana equate to legalizing murder? What kind of moron would even TRY to make such a ludicrous and ridiculous comparison? Ah well...

who ever said that politicians have to be smart, intelligent, and have to have common sense. Hey, just make everything legal and we don't have to worry about anything anymore. It's just a murder, it's just a rape, what the heck. How sickening!!!!

Did I catch a hint of common sense from a person in power?
