Dr. Oz Demeans Medical Marijuana Part 2

The ultimate betrayal by a prominent, but ignorant physician.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - I wrote a previous article on this subject for salem-news.com after hearing Dr. Oz “damning with faint praise” the medical use of Cannabis/Marijuana (C/MJ) which is used by about 20,000,000 people in the U.S. and used effectively for medical purposes.

He did have Montel Williams, a prominent Multiple Sclerosis victim for whom C/MJ is the only effective therapy, Dr. Donald Abrams who has been continually recommending it for the horrors of HIV/AIDS where it is very successfully extending both life and the pleasure of life for thousands for maybe thirty years.

Several people in the audience spoke of their success for migraine, et cetera. Dr. Oz failed to even mention the generic list of diseases for which a person can get a permit which is NOT a prescription: Serious pain, Serious spasms, Nausea & Vomiting, Wasting disease, Glaucoma, Alzheimer’s rage, Seizures, Migraines and Cancer. Each of these diseases has a subgroup for a total of about 100 medical conditions.

I was astonished when he bleated that C/MJ was not effective for conditions such as: PMS, Headache, Anxiety, Stress, Insomnia and Irritability. It is also the best medicine for Combat Stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and probably Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) .

Dr. Oz. was a great disappointment. Words that come to my mind are: Ignorant, Malicious, Egotistical, Arrogant, Marijuanaphobic and ultimately REEFER MADNESS. It sounded as if he were being a SHILL for BIG PHARMA despite the FACT that C/MJ is more effective with less adverse side effects than most standard drugs which it effectively replaces. 

I HOPE OTHERS CAN EDUCATE DR. OZ!!!
