41-Year-Old Man Arrested for Centennial Neighborhood Homicide in Early April

This investigation started on Sunday April 6, 2014, at 9:11 a.m., when East Precinct officers responded to Portland Adventist Medical Center on the report that a man arrived by private car, suffering from a stab wound.

(PORTLAND) - 41-year-old Shawn Michael Sanchez Last night, Thursday April 24, 2014, Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives arrested a man in connection with a homicide earlier this month.

41-year-old Shawn Michael Sanchez was arrested and booked early this morning into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Murder and Burglary in the First Degree. He will be arraigned sometime today.

Cold Case Homicide Detectives Arrest 48-Year-Old Man for 1995 Southeast Portland Homicide

Very few details about the homicide investigation can be released at this time as the case is still an active investigation.

(PORTLAND) - Murder suspect Danny Conner Today, Tuesday April 22, 2014, Portland Police Bureau Cold Case Homicide detectives arrested a 48-year-old man in connection with a 1995 homicide that occurred in Southeast Portland.

Danny Conner was arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on two counts of Murder. He will be arraigned on Wednesday.

Runaway Pickup Containing Three Children Crashes into House

Deputies determined that the children were playing in the truck and one of them knocked it out of gear. No charges have been filed and no citations were issued.

(PORTLAND) - House children crashed truck into 4-5-14 A pickup truck with three children in it rolled down the street uncontrolled and crashed into a house. The children were not hurt and no one was home at the time of the crash.

Yesterday, Friday, February 21, 2014, at about 4:42 p.m. Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a pickup truck that crashed into a house at 8415 SW Carmel CT in the community of Garden Home.

North Plains Man Dies after Shooting Another Man

As the house filled with smoke, deputies heard what they believed to be a single gunshot from inside the house.

(PORTLAND) - Fire at scene of shooting Washington County Deputies responded to a shooting incident that seriously injured a man. The suspect then barricaded himself in his North Plains house that ultimately caught on fire. The suspect was later found deceased in his house.

Today at about 11:15 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an incident at 35053 NW Mountaindale Road in the community of North Plains, where someone was allegedly shot with a gun.

46-Year-Old Man Arrested for Inappropriately Touching Two Teen Girls

This investigation began on January 23, 2014, when a 14-year-old girl reported that a man sat next to her on a TriMet bus and made sexually explicit comments and inappropriately touched her, while the bus was in the area of North Woolsey Avenue and Trenton Street.

(PORTLAND) - 46-year-old Jason Raynard Tomlin On Tuesday March 18, 2014, North Precinct officers arrested 46-year-old Jason Raynard Tomlin in connection with two reports of a man inappropriately touching underage girls.

Tomlin was charged with two counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree and was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.

Wanted Federal Fugitive Isaac Harden Arrested in Las Vegas

Harden is in the custody of the Clark County (NV) Detention Center awaiting extradition to Oregon.

(PORTLAND) - 40-year-old Isaac Symone Harden Sr. On the afternoon of Wednesday March 12, 2014, members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Las Vegas Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) arrested 40-year-old Isaac Symone Harden Sr., a federal fugitive wanted out of Portland, Oregon for a series of drug trafficking and firearm related offenses.

Harden was arrested at residence in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Let's have a toast to Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - St. Patrick's Day On March 17th, the Irish, the more than 70 million world-wide who claim Irish heritage, and the Irish-for-a-day, will be lifting a pint of Guinness, or something stronger, to toast Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. I bet corn beef and cabbage will be on many a menu.

And many will be wearin' the green. Why is it celebrated on March 17th? One theory is that is the day St. Patrick died and is now celebrated as his feast day.

Police Identify Man who Shot Officer

Portland Police Detectives have confirmed that the suspect was also the person involved in the associated reports of a suspicious van following kids.

(PORTLAND) - police shooting update The suspect who shot Portland Police Officer John Romero on March 12, 2014, has been identified as 49-year-old Kelly Vern Swoboda.

Portland Police say Swoboda, who died in a shootout with police Wednesday, had a warrant for his arrest for robbery, and was also a suspect in bank robberies and other crimes in multiple jurisdictions.
