(PORTLAND) - On Tuesday March 18, 2014, North Precinct officers arrested 46-year-old Jason Raynard Tomlin in connection with two reports of a man inappropriately touching underage girls.

Tomlin was charged with two counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree and was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.

This investigation began on January 23, 2014, when a 14-year-old girl reported that a man sat next to her on a TriMet bus and made sexually explicit comments and inappropriately touched her, while the bus was in the area of North Woolsey Avenue and Trenton Street.

A second report was made on February 6, 2014, when a 13-year-old female reported that a man approached her using sexually explicit language and inappropriately touched her in a TriMet bus shelter, located at North Dekum Street and Durham Avenue. The victim was waiting for the bus to go to school.

Surveillance video obtained after the February 6 report was released to the public, which assisted in the identification of Tomlin as the suspect.
