Oregon Updates Temporary Rules for Streamlining Marijuana Testing Process

These are newer temporary rules to update the temporary rules effective Dec 2, temporarily.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon State Seal The new temporary testing rules update previously adopted temporary rules that took effect Dec. 2. Those rules allowed producers and processors to test fewer marijuana samples in an effort to lower costs and streamline the testing process.

OHA officials found the Dec. 2 temporary rules remained burdensome, and additional changes were needed.

Oregon`s Governor Advises Against Partying and Driving

Over the past 5 years during the holidays, 14 people died in crashes and half of those were alcohol-involved crashes.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Members of the Governor’s Advisory Committee on DUII are reminding motorists this holiday season about the dangers of driving under the influence, which includes alcohol and other impairing drugs, such as cannabis (marijuana).

Oregon Switches Gears to Revive Cannabis Industry

The OHA says the temporary rules provide relief for the industry while maintaining "public health protection".

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon marijuana The outcry has apparently been heard. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) announced today it is modifying testing standards for medical and recreational marijuana products with new, temporary rules.

According to those most affected, testing costs have driven up consumer prices, created product shortages, and caused some processors to actually cease operations (temporarily) and furlough employees just as the holidays are upon us.
