Marion County Agencies Participate in Nationwide Domestic Violence Offender SweepSalem-News.comThe goal of this event is to send messages to offenders that they will be held to account and to victims of domestic violence that there is hope and that others do care. (SALEM) -
Twenty-eight representatives from area law enforcement agencies participated in the nationwide domestic violence sweeps this week. The team arrested 18 people over a 7-hour period on outstanding arrest warrants for domestic violence related crimes. Four of those people were also arrested on new charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
