One Dead in Crash Near Aurora

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

(AURORA) - On Friday, Marion County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a reported motorcycle vs van crash at the intersection of Ehlen Road and Boones Ferry Rd NE near the city of Aurora. The crash caused the intersection to be closed down for over six hours while members of the Marion County Multi Agency CRASH investigation team investigated the incident. The operator of the 1987 Honda motorcycle died at the scene. Family members of the deceased are still being contacted and the 42-year-old males name will be released after completing notification. The driver of the 1995 Ford van, 54-year-old Vincent Roberts is cooperating with Deputies during the investigation. This investigation is ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
