From a mountain bike clinic, to summer swimming lessons, and a half-marathon, there is something for every age group.

(ALBANY, Ore. ) - City of Albany Oregon Albany Parks & Recreation Department is offering a mountain bike clinic. Instructor is Dan Coyle, outdoor enthusiast.

The Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon will be held Saturday, October 18, at Cheadle Lake Park in Lebanon.

Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Prepare for 4th of July Spectacular

Overall, hundreds upon hundreds of Veterans will be thanked, honored, and saluted during this years powerful and heartfelt Patriotic Weekend.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - Salem Keizer Volcanoes A classic American experience is the celebration of our nation's independence over the Fourth of July.

It all began in 2008, when Jerry Howard, current Senior Marketing Executive for the Volcanoes, wanted to create a patriotic promotion at the ballpark for the 4 of July. During all three games of the series, the Volcanoes team will be wearing their stars and stripes jerseys, and 176 American flags will decorate the ballpark.

Salem Fireworks and Independence Day Celebration

The fireworks display over the Willamette River in Salem is scheduled to begin at 10:15 p.m.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Oregon Riverfront Park Mark your calendars now, as the City of Salem will be having one awesome fireworks show and Independence Day Celebration at Riverfront Park, on July 4.

The event begins at 4:00 p.m. and runs through 11:00 p.m., with live music, food vendors, and of course the fireworks display.

Public Invited to Come See Improvements Made to Salem Park

In 2013, a $10,000 anonymous donation was made to improve the tot playground.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Park Map The public is invited to attend a special event at Royal Oaks Park sponsored by East Lancaster Neighborhood Association and City of Salem Public Works Parks Operations to celebrate the many improvements made to the park over the last three years.

Salem Ready to Open Splash Fountains; Annual Public Works Day is Thursday

The splash fountains at Riverfront Park and River Road Park will be open two hours earlier.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The City of Salem is set to open splash fountains in area parks. The self-operating spray fountains will be open every day until 8:00 p.m. starting on June 20.

The Eleventh Annual Public Works Day is scheduled for Thursday, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Riverfront Park.
