(PORTLAND, OR) - On behalf of the National Cannabis Coalition, we congratulate Judge Ellen Rosenblum on winning the primary race for Attorney General of Oregon. As the voters affirmed, Judge Rosenblum is the right choice for Oregon.

The National Cannabis Coalition supported Judge Rosenblum’s campaign through volunteer

hours, social media outreach and campaign contributions. We support her positions on medical marijuana and prioritizing law enforcement resources to more effectively combat serious and violent crime.

Judge Rosenblum recognizes that limited tax dollars are best spent protecting consumers and prosecuting dangerous criminals.

As she states on her campaign website, “I do not believe that prosecuting people for possessing small amounts of marijuana represents the best use of our resources. A better use of those resources is providing more treatment options for people with drug and alcohol addiction.”

We applaud this position and look forward to working with Judge Rosenblum to protect and promote civil liberties.
