Jan-12-2012 17:02TweetFollow @OregonNews Marijuana and Reefer Madness: the only Drug Causing Paranoid Schizophrenia in Non-UsersDr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.comEven states with draconian laws see wide use of marijuana by both legal and non-legal users.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) - I continue to read in newspapers and see on television, the obvious paranoia about marijuana by a small but well-funded, noisy portion of the populace. Why there is not a loud turmoil about the truly deadly alcohol and tobacco and even prescription drugs, which kill an estimated 100K PEOPLE A YEAR is beyond my understanding. It seems that the main complaint of the anti-marijuana folks is that they are totally prejudice against sick and destitute patients which are really their main but unwitting targets. What they are really doing is keeping them away from relatively safe, regulated DISPENSARIES and forcing them to deal with the vicious uncontrolled Mexican black market. The Oregonian just printed January 10, 2012, U.S. Communities use Laws to Block Pot Dispensaries, this could not be more evil than if the process was executed by the Mexican cartels. They love it! I will admit that the various state's health and medical authorities got caught with their pants down, with the whole marijuana situation. They had been "brainwashed" by the U.S. government that marijuana was so dangerously harmful, that they made no effort to review and consider its wide and effective medical use up to 1937, when a law was passed to block anything related to its use. These laws were mostly ignored by medical users and many non-medical users who used it anyhow. Now that medical marijuana is legal and widely used in about 16 states, these same misinformed officials are trying unsuccessfully to block the use of medical marijuana by the suffering patients who need it the worst. We know the non-medical users, such as high-schoolers and college students, are some of the most frequent users, and it costs so much that in many cases, it is the children of the rich who can obtain and use this herb. Their rich parents can and do protect them from the legal system! In California, west of the Sierras, marijuana use is very common. The LA area is supposed to have 700 dispensaries, with 300 more throughout the state. East of the mountains, towns cities and counties, are trying to block any and all dispensaries and even legal medical marijuana users. It won't work! The marijuana underground is so well organized that it can not even be slowed down. These laws have been countered by persons who will deliver "grass" to your home for a small fee - NO DISPENSARIES! Even in the states with draconian laws against dispensaries, like New Jersey, there is wide use of marijuana by both legal and non-legal users. With many millions of known users all over the country, it is time for the uninformed in the legal system to quit paying billions of dollars for police, prosecuting attorneys, judges and the court systems, to waste money on a totally lost cause of trying to control the largest, most profitable business in the U.S. and the world and not only that, but also making millionaires of the Mexican cartels. MAY GOD HELP THE MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENTS!!________________________________________

There's a lot of social bias involved in these sorts of studies. Prior to and throughout most of the 20th century, American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychological Association generally viewed homosexuality as a mental illness. What drug causes these "psychotic" symptoms: feelings of invulnerability, aggressiveness, recklessness and promiscuity. Many times people exhibit extreme violence while under the influence of this substance. Pill-prescribing pychiatrists can manipulate the parameters of what they consider "psychosis," but it's clear to most people (by opening one's eyes) that the vast majority of drug-induced "psychosis" is associated with alcohol, so why don't these martini-drinking, big pharma lapdogs want to discuss it?

the only Drug Causing Paranoid Schizophrenia in Non-Users ... That is a good line, I will have to remember that one.. Altho,we all know that marijuana is not a drug but an herb. Funny how the feds can call a cow a chicken and everyone follows along... Gen 1: God said, “Let the earth put forth grass, HERBS YIELDING SEED, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with its seed in it, on the earth,” and it was so. 1:12 The earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with its seed in it, after their kind: and God saw that it was good. p.s. ever notice how our federal government goes the opposite way of God/Jesus? Herbs are illegal, monsanto produces no seeds (which is causing massive amounts of damage from higher food prices, to the environment, to farmer suicide rates), invading raw milk dairies while letting big ag kill us...bombing countries on lies, etc..I could go on all day, hope you get the point. And just think, these same people have police/high tech weapons/mercenaries and NDAA. The only way this country will heal is to repent. Ron Paul supporter.
