Dallas Man Sent to Prison for Selling Pot to Minors

(DALLAS, Ore.) - 26-year old Morgan Keith Haney, of Dallas, pled guilty today in Polk County Circuit Court to Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana to a Minor and Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana Within 1000 Feet of a School.

The Dallas Police Department's investigation revealed that Haney had been selling marijuana in the parking lot shared by Dallas High School and Chemeketa Community College.

Haney also pled no-contest to Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.

Judge Monte Campbell sentenced Haney to a total of 2 years and 10 months in prison and 36 months post-prison supervision for these crimes.

The case was prosecuted by the Polk County District Attorney's Office.
