Marijuana: Hidden Dangers of the Best Medicine

(PORTLAND, OR) - The US government anti-marijuana shills, the police, the sheriff's deputies, the district attorneys, the judges, the anti-marijuana psychologists, the anti-marijuana psychiatrists, and about half of the voting public, who have seen the movie "Reefer Madness," seem to believe that marijuana is dangerous with barely a shred of evidence, that it is.

Legally prescribed drugs such as OxyContin, hydrocodone (Vicodin), antidepressants like Zoloft and Prozac, Valium like drugs (with alcohol) and gabapentin collectively kill about 100,000 patients per year. Marijuana by contrast, has never killed anybody and can medically safely replace all of the above drug classes.

In the meantime, all of the above mentioned agencies spend their time making up false allegations about shrinking testicles and male breast enlargement, none of which has been verified by anybody. Marijuana in many forms, not smoking, has been successfully used by probably millions of patients with very few adverse effects.

So what's with the title? The worst examples of the dangers of marijuana are the first responders, the police or sheriffs. It seems that their orders are, be as vicious as you can be with the marijuana criminal, his spouse or partner, knocking them down and brutally handcuffing them. Scare their children half to death with loud shouts and profanity and maybe even a few gunshots into the ceiling will be helpful. Destroy everything in the house which might hide a joint or two, destroy their plants, the light systems, irrigation and containers and anything else which looks like or smells like a bong. As a final bit of vengeance, kidnap their children and remove them to a foster home where they will be punished for wanting their mothers and fathers.

If this barbarity isn't enough, then you can always have the parents fired from their jobs, or incarcerated at $40,000 a year, while the rest of the family goes on welfare with inadequate food and probably put in a crime infested Section 8 housing.

I just read that an airline pilot was fired for using the only medicine he could safely use, marijuana, for a severe back pain injury. This same scenario has occurred thousands of times and the prisons are full of marijuana criminals.

The drug war is not against drugs, or Mexican drug cartels, it is against mostly poor, disabled persons who can't afford to go to a doctor but have found excellent, safe medicine in their back yards.
