Marijuana as an Aphrodisiac?

The answer is yes!

Marijuana is an Aphrodisiac

(PORTLAND, OR) - I actually found out about this ten years ago when I was helping one of my 1,000 PTSD Veteran patients get a medical marijuana permit. He had been mistreated at the VA with morphine-like drugs, valium-like drugs and anti-depressants, all of which are strong brain depressants. They destroyed his libido. They gave him Viagra which didn't work because one must have the psychological desire along with the physiologic ability, both of which are suppressed by PTSD, severe pain, and the drugs mentioned above. He was totally psychologically depressed by his mistreatment, by the VA, and decided to get a medical marijuana permit. I had given several seminars about medical marijuana and was asked several times about marijuana and sex, so I finally decided to check it out. Boy, was I surprised, well maybe!

The first article on this subject that I read was from 1998. It reported that marijuana had been used for sex enhancement in India for 3,000 years or longer. The writers were very voluble about how wonderful marijuana was in this matter. Rather than smoking, they used Bhang which apparently is like a marijuana milkshake with all sorts of spices and sugar (like brownies?). Under the effects of Bhang, the males will ritually bathe their ladies with holy perfumed water and a bunch of etceteras. They write that this encounter may last up to seven or eight hours. In Serbia, part of Yugoslavia, a similar practice was used in the 19th Century. Similar practices were common in North Africa and the Middle east in the early 20th Century with both wives and concubines. In Canada and the U.S., there were some similar situations. The big problem was, how much marijuana was effective? Some said little, but some said being "stoned" was better. Don't argue with me, higher doses do cause sleep. In this case a bad side effect!

The second article I examined was from November, 2008. Reports from the University of Texas in studies with mice, found that feeding THC increased testosterone up to six times normal. Higher doses of THC cause the opposite effect and testosterone goes down.

The next article I located, written in 2012, is almost a repeat of the information contained in previous articles.

The last article I found was dated 2002, which I will quote, "Marijuana is actually one of the most powerful and effective aphrodisiacs". This precise comment was, "Less is more" and "Less smoke equals more enjoyment". If you smoke less you will save money, save your lungs and save your health. The latter article had 56,000 views.

YES, MARIJUANA IS AN APHRODISIAC!
