(WASHINGTON DC) - A new national Pew poll just released shows majority support for legalizing marijuana (52% - 45%). The poll also shows that 72% of Americans think that federal efforts to enforce marijuana laws cost more than they are worth. Sixty percent say the feds should not enforce marijuana laws in states that allow legal use. Many Americans will not be surprised by this news, but a national poll showing these results is very telling of the mood of a nation in mid stride toward new laws that remove criminal sanctions from a natural plant that has has a significant syndicated base of illegal growers whose products are always strongly in demand. Tom Angell, Chairman of Marijuana Majority in Washington D.C., said in regard to the newly released poll:
