(DA NANG, Vietnam) - Vietnam Chapter of the Veterans For Peace Effective immediately, our VFP, Chapter 160 site is open to the public. Anyone can reach our site by linking to vfp-vn.ning.com/. The public is invited to view and to contribute.

There will still be moderation of pictures, videos - which will require approval before they are posted. In addition, we still have the ability to delete blogs and forums should we deem them inappropriate.

High Cancer Rates for Vietnam Veterans

Our nation’s veterans not getting the service connected benefits rightfully due to them when they are diagnosed with cancer caused by exposure to Agent Orange.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Military tribute The tracking of cancer in the aging population of Vietnam Veterans exposed to dioxin has been neglected.

With pancreatic and brain cancer rates 5 to 7 times higher than the civilian populations and lung cancer twice the rate in veterans that served in country according to the mortality study issued by The Department of Veterans’ Affairs Canberra Nov. 1997.

VCS Statement: A Vital Constitutional Victory for Our Veterans

The lengthy bureaucratic delays our veterans face must end now.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. Yesterday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled VA's mental health care system and disability claims system remain badly broken, and veterans face long delays to see doctors and obtain benefits.

The Court of Appeals ordered VA to fix what it descrbed "egregious problems." VCS believes now is the time for our President, VA Secretary, and Congress to fix VA.

Ninth Circuit Court Says VA, Congress and President Seriously Screwed Up

Court decision will radically change VA's approach to Veteran's health treatment.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Sgt. Jacob Blaylock, seated left, one of four in his Guard unit to commit suicide Never in my life have I read words so supportive of veterans. It is sad and a case of horrible negligence and oversight, but for once, someone is putting their foot down, and that 'someone' is the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.

Elder Abuse, Neglect Rampant in US

They are a small but growing movement called the National Association to stop Guardian Abuse.

(WASHINGTON D.C. Press TV) - Salem-News.com They say the disabled and elderly are being preyed upon by the legal system, by crooked lawyers and courts who scam millions of dollars by having older people declared Guardians of the courts depriving them and their families of their rights and taking their assets.

Protesting in front of the Justice Department, they met with a few members of Congress demanding something be done.

Kitty Hawk. During my tour aboard the USS Kitty Hawk between 1971-1973, I had done two combat tours back to back.
