A story of survival against a series of battles... always insurmountable odds.
(CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C.) -
I never would have imagined that I would now be writing the story of the 70th man who served at or lived aboard Camp Lejeune, who developed breast cancer.
This is the final straw in drawing needed attention to serious health issues tied to the base water supply.
“As long as I’m still alive, I will continue raising fund to help poor people in Quang Ngai and share the pain of AO victims” - Roy Mike Boehm.
(MADISON, VietNamNet Bridge) -
Veterans and members of the US-based Madison Quakers charity organization on March 27 evening played violin, flute, guitar and mandolin to raise funds for Agent Orange victims in the central province of Quang Ngai.
For the past 16 years, Roy Mike Boehm, a US veteran quietly came to Vietnam’s Quang Ngai province to play violin to pray for the souls of the victims of the My Lai massacre.
"Rally for the Right to Know" on 26 March across the US: Genetically Modified Foods need to be labeled...
(WASHINGTON D.C.) -

Little can be done for human dioxin poisoning.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
Agent Orange; continually in the news since Veterans of Viet Nam began showing up with toxicity symptoms and death.
When poisoning of our Vets first started showing up in the 1970’s the Army Medicos told the troops it was just “jungle rot” from living in the tropical rain forests.
Iran Announces first all-Iranian aircraft squadron.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
Iran takes a unique step forward in the world of military aviation with the announcement of the country's first jet fighter squadron comprised of all Iranian aircraft. The Saeqeh jet fighter; Iranian built and designed- now has become part of Iran's Air Force.
Saeqeh means 'Thunderbolt' in Iran and that name was applied to what was undoubtedly one of the best American WWII fighters, the P-47 Thunderbolt which had a ridiculous amount of horsepower toward the end of the war.
The cost of Agent Orange’s personal body invasion is stupefying — with its life consuming selfishness and the financial destruction it has caused.
(LOS ANGELES) -
I live in soulful frustration along with stunned amazement at how this beautiful country of ours can ignore many hidden American civilians like myself.
In 1970, while traveling with the USO as an innocent, 18-year old volunteer, I was repeatedly and unexpectedly exposed to Agent Orange (I have written about those times in alossofinnocence.com.)
Please sign this crucial petition and forward to everyone in your address book.
(LOS ANGELES) -
I am writing for a very important reason. I hope you will support and help all those of us who suffer from exposure to Agent Orange. I know — more than most — nobody wants to talk about this. Agent Orange. “Uh, oh, here comes Lesli, again.”
Agent Orange is not a partisan issue, it is not a blue state or red state issue or even a “which side of the aisle” issue…it is an American issue. This is of great and personal importance to me. And, I hope to all Americans.
In my view, the synchronicity of revolts and occupation of public space that began in 1968 is continually widening its circles. - George Katsiaficas
