An extremely interesting perspective of Monsanto can be gained by reading this article: Forbes Was Wrong On Monsanto. Really Wrong. by Robert Langreth, that was published 12 Oct 2010:

Forbes made Monsanto the 'company of the year' last year in The Planet Versus Monsanto. I know because I wrote the article.

Gandhi got his country to reject the products of the British empire. GMOs and vaccines are central products of this empire and each are also bioweapons (http://oilgeopolitics.net/Swine_Flu/Gates_Vaccines/gates_vaccines.html).

And look what they can do with them - a literal war. Monsanto made Agent Orange to defoliate Vietnam. Now it has created crops that tolerate it (its recent pesticides have components of AO in it) and it has written a food safety bill giving the director of the FDA" food safety" division (a Monsanto VP) military power to do whatever he wants to protect food and farms. If he declares there is an invasive species (earthworms are listed by the USDA that way), he could have the military aerial spray Agent Orange pesticide across the country, destroying farms and all normal food, and only GMO food, owned whole-ly by corporations would remain. And that food is deadly (infertility, sterility, birth defects, cancer, diabetes, etc).

This is just a stunt by OCA to get Money, because if they were serious they would have done more besides saying "it's OK for the (FAKE) Food "Safety" laws to pass because the Tester amendment is in it". The operative word is "MONSANTO" and now they claim to stand up! BAHHH... Their Millions Against Monsato FB group had the "Jon Stuart expose Monsanto bill S.510" When I who was an admin was making headway in Nov. 2010 with over 17,000 hits in a day the page was deleted. And Harry Reed snuck in and got it passed with no Objections cause no one knew he was on the floor...DIRTY TRICKS every where!
Thanks Salem News for Standing up.
PS EPA is doing nothing about HC$C Sugar poisoning the river bed at IAO RIVER on Maui. They are all ignoring my complaints.
If we want anything done we need to fire all of the revolving door and close that door....

PS OCA has called me 5 times for money in 10 months.
Check out my blog Salem news I have a couple links to you. and appreciate you style of informing the truth.

@ Jack. What a 'sad, sad, sad' human being you are. Just be honest and say you're too lazy to stand up and do anything. Protests will work if they are consistent. Organic farmers will only be too grateful to sell their produce to you, in fact, organic industry is 60% of the market atm and growing. Get off your arse!

Absolutely agree with the below poster (currently Jack) Private corporations are never swayed by a 0.05% minority protesting population. Only through DIRECT ACTION - as extreme as possible, to focus attention on the egregious violations - will any progress ever be made. we can't all be ecowarriors, but those who have the means and freedom, do not hesitate to strike!

sadly, demonstrations accomplish nothing...sadly, no one seems to get that...sadly, we must swallow whatever the powers feed us...sadly, I'll be ridiculed then forgotten

Yay!! I'm so glad to see this article. Thank you so much! It's important to note that the goal here is to educated the public and gather signatures to get GMO foods labled so we have a choice.

oooooh....i think ill be there....NOT. What a waste of time

Chuck Palazzo March 24, 2011 3:48 am (Pacific time)

This is a MUST ATTEND for those of us that can. Monsanto, amongst other evils, remains the largest producer of Agent Orange which has killed and maimed millions and continues to do so. Thanks, brother, for posting!
