Suspect Identified in October Central Linn Bomb Threat

Parents were kept informed until the lockdown was lifted.

(LINN COUNTY, Ore.) - On the morning of October 29th at 9:44 a.m. deputies responded to the school to investigate a threat that came in over the phone. The caller referenced a “bomb”, which put the school on alert and caused them to lockdown the facility.

Salem Man Charged with Transmitting Threatening Communications

Michael Wolfe Arrested in Disappearances

Oregon man is in custody and charged with aggravated murder after disappearance of his 3-year-old son and the boy's mother.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Friday, 52-year old Michael John Wolfe was taken into custody by investigators from the Salem Police Department in connection with the disappearance of 25-year old Karissa Fretwell and the 3-year old son, William Fretwell, she shares with Wolfe.

He was booked into the Yamhill County Jail on two counts of Aggravated Murder and two counts of Kidnapping in the First Degree. He is being held without bail.

Salem Man Sentenced to 6 Years in Prison for Dealing Meth and Cockfighting

Aispuro’s ranch in Scio, Oregon revealed more 200 roosters being raised and trained for fighting.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Arturo Aispuro, of Salem, Oregon, was sentenced today to 78 months in federal prison and 5 years’ of supervised release for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine. He also received a concurrent sentence of 60 months for abusing hundreds of roosters.

Aispuro was a member of a drug trafficking conspiracy operating in and around Salem. In April 2017, with the assistance of a co-conspirator, Aispuro sold 882 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant in Milwaukie, Oregon. In May 2017, law enforcement intercepted Aispuro while he was transporting 442 more grams of meth for distribution.

Salem Cop One of The Mac Men Arrested for Burglary

Two men, including an off-duty Salem Police officer, have been charged with multiple felonies.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Cardenas is charged with two counts of aggravated theft in the first degree, four counts of burglary in the second degree and one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Thayres is charged with one count of theft in the first degree and one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Seth Thayres is a police officer with the City of Salem, and has been for six years.

Oregon Woman Not Held Responsible For Daughters Death

Weathers was sentenced as a first-time offender on the charge of DUII

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - According to officials, when Weathers left the wedding, she had her adult daughter and pre-school aged granddaughter in the vehicle. During the drive, she argued with her daughter, who ultimately "fell or jumped" from the vehicle, and was killed.

Although the DUII charge stemmed from her actions that night, there were no applicable Oregon criminal statutes to the death itself.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - The investigation began on January 30th, 2019, when information was brought forth to the Police Department that Lahar had sexually explicit images involving a child on a cell phone.

During the investigation, which included serving a search warrant at Lahar’s residence, additional evidence uncovered numerous incidents of sex crimes against Lahar’s infant female child.
