Reality is a goal for doctors walking along the (golden) yellow brick road

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - yellow brick road I recently posted an article “Medical Marijuana and Dr. Oz”, responding to his article “You Docs: Risks in Taking Medical marijuana”.

I took him to task because he was writing about the medical risks which are minimal and glossing over the great, therapeutic benefits which are many and in fact, drugs of choice for about 100 disparate medical problems.

I have no idea who flummoxed you into writing this but as a physician from Turkey you should know better. Marijuana has been used as medicine in your country, Turkey, for at least 1000 years. Here for only 200.

OSP Traffic Stop Leads to 6 Lbs. of Marijuana, Arrest Of Boise, Idaho Woman

(LAKEVIEW, Ore) - Six Pounds of Marijuana seized A Boise, Idaho woman was arrested late Saturday by an Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper with the assistance of Lakeview Police Department during a traffic stop in Lakeview when approximately 6 lbs. of marijuana was found in the vehicle. The OSP Drug Enforcement Section is assisting during the follow-up investigation.

According to OSP Sergeant Steve Yates, on Saturday at approximately 10:55 p.m. an OSP trooper stopped a 2010 Dodge Avenger displaying Idaho license plates on Highway 395 near milepost 143 for an unlawful left turn. The driver was identified as Julianne Nicole Stewart, age 25, from Boise, Idaho.

Governor Schwarzenegger Signs Bill to Reduce Marijuana Penalties in California

The new bill changes marijuana possession of less than an ounce to an infraction.

(SACRAMENTO) - Schwarzenegger marijuana To the Members of the California State Senate: I am signing Senate Bill 1449.

This bill changes the crime of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana from a misdemeanor punishable only by a $100 fine to an infraction punishable by a $100 fine. Under existing law, jail time cannot be imposed, probation cannot be ordered, nor can the base fine exceed $100 for someone convicted of this crime.
