$653,500 in Marijuana Siezed by San Ysidro CBP Officers Over Weekend

CBP officers at both border stations apprehended 15 wanted felons with warrants for their arrest

(SAN YSIDRO, Calif) - Bundles of marijuana were hidden throughout the engine compartment of this vehicle. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa ports of entry this weekend were busy intercepting drugs hidden in various compartments.

CBP officers at both ports seized 1,307 pounds of marijuana in 13 different smuggling attempts from Friday 6 a.m. to Monday 6 a.m. The drugs were estimated to have a street value of $653,500 dollars.

Two tons of Marijuana seized in 24 hours by Arizona Border Patrol

(Tucson, Ariz) - More than 1 ton of Marijuana seized by Arizona CBP In two separate incidents in the past 24 hours, U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Ajo, Ariz. station seized marijuana with a combined weight of approximately 4,000 pounds and an estimated value exceeding $3.1 million.

Border Patrol agents in Ajo, Ariz. found more than a ton of marijuana being transported into the U.S. via these backpacks.

CBP Officers Seize 2,520 Pounds of Marijuana in 3 Separate Attempts

CBP officers turned over the custody of the two individuals to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents

(San Diego, Calif) - Marijuana Filled Tire U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Otay Mesa Cargo port of entry intercepted three narcotic smuggling attempts this Monday.

The first seizure occurred at about 11:30 a.m., when a CBP officer referred a 26-year-old Mexican citizen driving a 1991 Freightliner Tractor to the secondary examination area for further inspection.
