I-5 Northbound in Portland Now Open

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - portland odot camera A semi hauling metal has flipped in the Terwilliger Curves on I-5 northbound, blocking all lanes of traffic.

It is not known when the lanes will be reopened.

Northbound traffic to detour at Highway 217 and I-205.

All lanes have re-opened.

Semi Crash has I-5 Southbound Near Eugene CLOSED

ODOT hopes to be able to open at least one southbound lane by about 7:00 AM this morning.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - crash investigation image A semi roll-over just before 4:00 AM this morning has CLOSED all southbound lanes of Interstate 5 one mile south of the Coburg interchange, near Beltline (milepost 197).

The semi was carrying lumber — two by fours — and the load spilled onto the highway.

A detour has been established at the Coburg interchange (milepost 198), taking traffic to Beltline and then back to I-5.

Teenager Critically Injured After Being Thrown From Open Bed of Pick-Up Near Lyons, Oregon

Police say alcohol is a factor in this single vehicle crash that happened on Highway 226 southwest of Lyons.

(LYONS, Ore.) - Salem-News.com An 18-year old male was one of five passengers ejected from the open bed of a pickup during a rollover crash Sunday evening on Highway 226 between Scio and Lyons.

The other four ejected passengers were not injured and the 17-year old driver was arrested on numerous charges including Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.

Oregon State Police Spokesman Greg Hastings says the crash happened at 4:45 PM, when the driver of a Toyota pickup, westbound on Highway 226 with seven people in the cab and bed, lost control and rolled off of the highway.

Police Say Road Rage Led to Rollover

Police say a 16-year old boy driving a Ford F-250 actually rammed a motorcycle, and then crashed in a rollover accident that seriously injured his female passenger.

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore.) - Wrecked Ford F-250 truck, Oregon, 6 4 07 Washington County Deputies responded to an accident in anunincorporated area Sunday evening after receiving a report of two juveniles involved in a rollover accident.

They say the crash occurred when the juvenile driver fled the scene of a minor traffic accident stemming from a road rage incident. The passenger in the truck, also a juvenile, was transported to Emmanuel Hospital with trauma injuries from the rollover crash.

Unhitched Boat Trailer Collides Motorcycle, Seriously Injuring Operator on Highway 30 Near St. Helens

The operator of the vehicle towing the boat trailer was cited for Violating Towing Safety Requirements.

(ST. HELENS, Ore.) - Crash scene at St. Helens, Oregon A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday afternoon on Highway 30 near St. Helens when a trailer that became unhitched from a vehicle came across the highway and collided with the motorcycle.

A southbound vehicle was towing a boat trailer on Highway 30 near Bennett Road around 1:42 PM, when police say the trailer became unhitched and drifted across all lanes of traffic, colliding with a northbound motorcycle.

Oregon State Police Sergeant Injured in Crash with Bull Elk on Interstate 84 West of La Grande

Oregon State Police Spokesman Greg Hastings says this crash is another reminder to all motorists of the potential danger while traveling when animals are on or near our highways.

(SALEM, Ore.) - OSP crash scene 6107 An Oregon State Police Sergeant responding to a reported traffic crash was injured Thursday night when his patrol car struck a bull elk on Interstate 84 about twelve miles west of La Grande.

Other officers investigating the crash say the elk partially went through the driver's side front windshield, hitting and injuring the officer.

Man Dies in Single-Car Crash on Highway 99W North of McMinnville

State troopers say the crash was reported at approximately 9:55 PM.

(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Crash scene at fatal Mcminnville, Oregon 6107 Police say a 21-year old man died Thursday night when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a power pole about two miles north of McMinnville on Highway 99W.

They say a Chevrolet driven by 21-year Kristopher Lawrence Becker was southbound on Highway 99W near milepost 33 when it swerved off of the roadway and struck two power poles on the driver's side. Police say they do not know what caused the crash, although alcohol is being investigated as a possible factor.

Salem Woman Critically Injured in Two Car Crash

Investigators say they do not believe that drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Crash investigation art Firefighters had to extricate a Salem woman from the wreckage of her car today after she was seriously injured in a high speed crash north of Keizer..

Deputies responded to the intersection of River Rd N and Clear Lake Rd N. at 12:30 PM. They say a woman failed a stop sign and was struck in the driver's door, receiving serious injuries.

West Albany High School Senior Killed After Being Struck by Pickup

The driver, who was not injured in the crash, was identified as 53-year-old Randy Hillyer of Jefferson.

(ALBANY, Ore. ) - fatal crash image On Wednesday, at approximately 7:59 PM, a male pedestrian was crossing southeast Santiam Road near Pacific Boulevard and was struck and killed by a small pickup.

The pedestrian was identified as 17-year-old Salvador Alcantar Sanchez.

Salvador was a senior at West Albany High School and was returning home from the Heritage Mall area when he was struck by the vehicle.

Driver Extricated and Life-Flighted from TV Highway Crash

The second vehicle involved in the incident, had an adult male driver and a 3-5 year old boy.

(ALOHA, Ore. ) - highway crash Just before 10:00 AM Tuesday morning, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue was called to a two car motor vehicle collision on Tualatin Valley Highway near 192nd Avenue in Aloha.

When crews arrived they found a Subaru Sedan in a ditch with the male driver trapped inside.

Firefighters worked for 25 minutes to remove the vehicle's roof and extricate the driver who is believed to have sustained serious injuries.
