Six People Transported After Head-On Crash Near Hillsboro

(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - A head on crash between a Honda and a Ford expedition towing a trailer led to a number of injuries among six adult men Saturday morning on Highway 219.

Two Injured in Head on Crash on I-5 Near Coburg

(COBURG, Ore. ) - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle head-on crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 5 north of Coburg.

At approximately 4:00 PM, a 1996 Ford Explorer was northbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 210.

The Explorer crossed the median and collided head-on with a southbound 2005 Chevrolet Impala.

Men Returning from Wedding Involved in Fatal Crash

There is no evidence that alcohol was a contributing factor.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The investigation into Saturday night's fatal traffic crash that resulted in the death of a Marion County Sheriff's Deputy and another person is continuing.

Oscar Ascencio Amaya, age 19, from Woodburn and Marion County Sheriff's Office Deputy Kelly Fredinburg were killed in the crash.

One Dead in Fathers Day Crash South of Molalla

(MOLALLA, Ore. ) - One person died Sunday evening after losing control of the sport utility vehicle he was driving on Highway 213 south of Molalla and crashing into a power pole.

The pole was split and the vehicle came to rest on its top off the highway.

At approximately 8:30 PM a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Salvador Compean, age 51, from Scotts Mills, was southbound on Highway 213 at a high rate of speed near Wagon Wheel Road when it left the highway and struck a power pole.

Deputy Kelly James Fredinburg, age 33, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary investigation indicates the Deputy had his marked patrol car emergency lights and siren activated.

The patrol car crashed head-on with a northbound white Ford Crown Victoria.

Rollover Crash in Salem Sends One to Hospital

The condition of the woman driver is not known at this time.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The Salem Fire Department responded Friday to a call for a one-vehicle accident at 4:46 PM on I-5 at milepost 258.

When firefighters arrived they found a small Honda SUV, which had rolled several times and landed on its roof.

A female was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Salem Hospital.

Woman Dies in Collision with Semi Farm Truck

The truck was was towing a trailer with a near full 2200 gallon tank of liquid fertilizer and spraying equipment.

(ST. PAUL, Ore. ) - Just after 7:15 AM Tuesday morning, Marion County Sheriff's Deputies responded to McKay Rd NE and Gearin Rd NE north of St. Paul on a report of a motor vehicle crash.

The driver of the car, a 25 year old female, died at the scene.
