Oregon City Family Survives Home Invasion Robbery

The suspects were described as male, under six feet tall, 20 years of age wearing ski masks and black clothing.

Driver Faces Manslaughter Charges in Fatal Weekend Crash

Police say the driver of a Toyota 4runner was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

(OREGON CITY, Ore.) - Police in Oregon City say a Portland man faces serious charges after an alcohol-involved weekend crash that claimed the life of an Oregon City woman and left several other people injured.

The crash happened around 9:37 PM Saturday in Oregon City at the intersection of AV Davis and Linn Avenue. A Toyota 4runner operated by 22-year old Fernando Deanda Moreno of Portland, was traveling at a high rate of speed east on AV Davis and failed to stop for the Stop sign at the intersection of Linn Avenue.

Man Arrested in Two Oregon City Robberies

The suspect was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on two counts of Robbery II.

(OREGON CITY) - 28-year old Christopher Easley, robbery suspect in Oregon City, 5-22-08 Police in Oregon City say 28-year old Christopher Easley was arrested for two robberies that occurred in Oregon City in the last two weeks.

Easley was located at his Oregon City home around 2:30 AM, interviewed and lodged at the Clackamas County Jail for two counts of second-degree Robbery, according to Lt. Lisa Nunes with Oregon City Police.

Oregon City Police Officer Saves Mother Trapped Under Boat Trailer

Nothing like being in the right place at the right time.

(OREGON CITY) - Saving the day An incident in Oregon City Thursday involving an injured mother and her small child could have gone a couple of different ways, but it ended in the survival of both, thanks to Oregon City Police Officer Doug Diller.

Around 4:42 PM Thursday, 27-year old Carman Cruz of Sherwood and her two-year old son were struck by a boat and trailer being backed into the water on the boat ramp at Clackamette Park in Oregon City.

Oregon City Man Identified as Home Invasion Murder Victim

The man killed in the incident is from Oregon City.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - 32-year old Joseph Ryan Pankonin was killed last night in a Clackamas County home invasion robbery. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is now revealing the identification of the murder victim who died at the scene of a home invasion robbery/murder on South Maple Lane, in Oregon City.

The deceased male is identified as 32-year old Joseph Ryan Pankonin, whose last known formal address is listed on Bullard Street, in Oregon City.

Police Investigating Home Invasion Robbery and Murder

Investigators report this residence may have been targeted by three suspects seeking money and drugs.

(OREGON CITY, Ore. ) - murder investigation Late Thursday evening, at 11:14 PM, a residential home invasion robbery and murder occurred at the address of 15275 South Maple Lane Road, in Oregon City.

One male adult was shot and killed during this robbery event, and an additional female occupant at this residence was reportedly physically assaulted during this incident. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office wishes to assure neighbors and the community this does not appear to be a random type of act, and that illicit drugs and money appear to be implicated in this ongoing investigation.

Former Clackamas Water District Bookkeeper Arrested for Theft

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office criminal investigation of Carol Jean Labrado began in 2007.

(OREGON CITY, Ore. ) - Carol Jean Labrado A bookkeeper formerly employed by the Clackamas River Water District, surrendered herself to authorities earlier this morning at the Clackamas County Jail.

61-year-old Carol Jean Labrado a resident of Milwaukie, was previously employed by the Clackamas River Water District, and is believed responsible for the theft of $57,000 in funds from the District.

Car Jacking Reported in Oregon City

The suspect is not a US Citizen and immigration authorities have been contacted regarding his arrest.

(OREGON CITY) - 24-year old Andrey Karachenets Police in Gresham say they are looking for a man they believe is responsible for a car jacking that took place December 30th at 1:30 PM in the parking lot of the Regal movie theater located at 1500 Molalla Avenue, Oregon City.

Det Sgt James Band with Oregon City Police says 24-year old Andrey Karachenets made contact with a woman in her vehicle, contact that led to the woman's car being jacked.
