Oregon City Man Identified as Home Invasion Murder VictimSalem-News.comThe man killed in the incident is from Oregon City.
(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is now revealing the identification of the murder victim who died at the scene of a home invasion robbery/murder on South Maple Lane, in Oregon City. The deceased male is identified as 32-year old Joseph Ryan Pankonin, whose last known formal address is listed on Bullard Street, in Oregon City. Detective Jim Strovink, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office spokesman, says an autopsy is expected to be performed by the Oregon State Medical Examiners Office. "The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators pursuing this ongoing robbery/murder investigation are both satisfied and confident with the progress of this criminal investigation at the present time." Any significant information and developments generated will be extended to all media sources as soon as possible. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has obtained detailed suspect descriptions of the subjects believed responsible for the late night residential home invasion robbery/murder investigation ongoing on South Maple Lane, in Oregon City. These suspects are described as: Suspect one is described as a black male adult; in his late 30's; 6'02" tall; weighing approximately 230-250 lbs; with black hair in dreadlocks; wearing a dark colored stocking cap, dark clothing and boots. The second suspect is a white male adult; believed to be in his late 30's; 5'09' tall; weighing approximately 190 - 200 lbs; with brown/wavy shoulder length hair; a scraggly beard and fair complexion. This suspect is described to have been wearing a pullover – long sleeved hooded type shirt – with a horizontal stripe across the chest and tennis shoes. 3. White female adult; described to be in her late 20's to early 30's; 5'03" – 5'06" tall; weighing an estimated 110 lbs; with short light colored "greasy" hair. This female suspect is described to have been wearing jeans and a white & orange colored jacket at the time of the robbery/murder.
