Oregon COVID Response Team to Ensure Delivery of PPE to all 36 Counties

All 36 counties and Oregon's 9 Tribes are expected to receive shipments by April 6th.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon COVID The State of Oregon expects a shipment of personal protective equipment (PPE) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Once received, the personnel at the fully operational PPE Distribution Center in Wilsonville will begin processing and shipping those supplies to all 36 counties and 9 tribes in Oregon.

Armed Polk County Man Arrested without Injuries

The man pointed a rifle at officers in Monmouth.

(MONMOUTH, Ore.) - police car lights Officers arrived and located the male, 21-year old Daniel Hauge Cook, a Polk County resident. He had walked west to Glazemeadow St and Hoffman Rd.

Hauge Cook pointed a rifle at the officers and refused to follow commands to put the weapon down. He fired multiple rounds into the ground and kneeled on the curb.

Oregon is CLOSED: Governor Issues Stay Home Order

Failure to comply with the order will be considered an immediate danger to public health and subject to a Class C misdemeanor.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Seal of the state of Oregon Governor Kate Brown today issued Executive Order 20-12, directing everyone in Oregon to stay at home to the maximum extent possible and adding to the list of businesses that will be temporarily closed to stem the spread of COVID-19 in Oregon.

The order is effective immediately, and remains in effect until ended by the Governor.

Temporary Rule Aligns With Governor’s Executive Order to Promote Social Distancing

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - oregon marijuana The action will permit retail licensees to take orders and deliver product from the retail store to a person who is outside of the store and within 150 feet of the retailer’s licensed premises.

The temporary rule also increases the amount of flower that OMMP cardholders and caregivers can purchase to 24 ounces per day and no more than 32 ounces per month.

Two More Oregonians Die from COVID-19

10 new cases also confirmed statewide, bringing total to 75

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - COVID-19 COVID-19 has claimed two more lives in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll from this virus to three, the Oregon Health Authority reported at 8:30 a.m. today.

The cases are a 60-year-old woman in Lane County, who died on March 14, and a 71-year-old man in Washington County who died March 17.

Oregon Announces 8 New COVID-19 Cases

“High risk” includes adults 60+, or anyone with a serious health condition (ie: lung or heart problems, kidney disease, diabetes, or suppressed immune system).

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Social Distancing Flyer Oregon now has a total of 47 people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The Oregon Health Authority announced eight new cases of the novel coronavirus as of 10:30 a.m. today.

OHA is reporting 2 new cases each in Benton and Deschutes Counties; and 1 new case in each of the following counties: Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah and Washington.
