Local News: : 2-Alarm Keizer Fire Leaves Family of Eight Homeless

The family of eight; Dad, Mom, and six children, ranged in age from 7 to 18 years old.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A family in Keizer was forced to evacuate their home late in the night when the unknown odor in the home grew to the point- smoke drove them from the house. Keizer Police and Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved garage fire that extended into the house and burned to the second floor attic.

The calls to 911 began at 00:12:55 a.m. (12 minutes after midnight) and a Keizer Police Patrol unit arrived 4 minutes later and reported the house fully involved in fire.

Keizer, Police Investigate Shooting and Assault

Keizer Police Captain Jeff Kuhns says a gang fight involving 30 people was reported.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Keizer, Oregon Police at scene of shooting Keizer Police responded to the Partridge Lane Apartments, in the 3900 block of Partridge Lane NE, at 8:52 p.m. Friday evening after receiving a report of a "gang fight" where a shooting had occurred.

Keizer Police Captain Jeff Kuhns, says officers on scene have confirmed at least one individual has sustained what appears to be a non-life threatening injury related to gunfire, however a second male victim was assaulted by other means and his condition remains unknown at this time.

Keizer Police Arrest Rite Aid Robbery Suspect

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact detectives.

(Keizer, Oregon) - Surveillance image from Keizer Rite Aid Robbery Today at about 3:13 P.M., members of the Keizer Police Department responded to an Armed Robbery having just occurred at the Keizer Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 5452 River Road North.

This was the third robbery of this pharmacy in the past eighteen days.

Keizer Burglary in the First Degree Arrest

(Keizer, Oregon) - Michael L. Sims On April 15th, 2011, at 9:03 PM, Catherine Ebright called 911 to report she had just returned home and discovered an unknown male subject inside her residence committing a burglary.

Mrs. Ebright lives at 777 Dearborn Avenue NE, Keizer. Mrs. Ebright stated she verbally challenged the male suspect, but he fled out of her residence carrying a large duffel bag with stolen property inside it.

Police Investigate Suspicious Death in Keizer

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Suspicious death in Keizer, Oregon On Monday, February 14, 2011 at 2:07 p.m. officers from the Keizer Police Department and members of the Keizer Fire District responded to 1143 Orchard Court North #C on a report of an unconscious person who had been found inside the apartment.

Responding officers and paramedics found an adult female inside the apartment and confirmed she was deceased. The death is suspicious in nature at this time.

Keizer Man Charged in Wife`s Murder

The manner and cause of death will be released by the Marion County District Attorney's Office after an autopsy is performed.

(KEIZER) - 39-year old Peter John Zielinski is accused of Murdering his wife, 38-year old Lisa T. Zielinski. A Keizer man connected with the Murder of his wife apparently came to the police station after hours

officers with the Keizer Police Department Patrol Division contacted a subject who was at the police 9-1-1 after-hours, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 7:12 a.m. The man came to the emergency vestibule located at the Keizer Police Department.
