Human Remains Recovered in Clackamas River

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine personnel recover human remains discovered floating in the Willamette River‏

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Photo of Marine unit on Clackamas, Oregon On Saturday, November 28, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. a fishing guide and his clients recognized a deceased human body entangled in a large nest of sticks floating down the Willamette River, just below Hogg Island, on the Lake Oswego side of the river.

Detective Jim Strovink, Public Information Officer with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says the agency's Marine Unit was alerted and responded to this reported discovery of a deceased body floating in the river.

Gym Owner Arrested in Clackamas Sex Abuse Case

Real Fitness is on Jannsen Road in Clackamas, the proprietor and suspect in this case is 38-year old Bryce Darrel Jackson, who lives on SE Laurel in Milwaukie.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - 38-year old Bryce Jackson is charged with second-degree Sex Abuse Sheriff's deputies arrested a Milwaukie man on Sex Abuse charges Monday afternoon at his gym in Clackamas.

Det. Jim Strovink with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office, says it began when an 18-year-old female called her mother crying hysterically after allegedly being sexually assaulted in the gym by its operator, according to that afternoon.

Suspect Sought in Clackamas Shooting

Clackamas County Sheriff's investigators conducting investigation into shooting incident on SE 85th and Monterey‏.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Shooting A 16-year old boy called Clackamas County dispatchers Sunday evening after being shot, and taking refuge in an apartment in the Monterey Springs apartment complex; which, is located in the immediate vicinity of the reported shooting where multiple rounds were believed to have been fired.

Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says the call came in a 6:07 p.m.

Surprise Awakening for Oregon City Apartment Dwellers (SLIDESHOW)

Jeep wakes up residents early by crashing into Oregon City apartment.‏

(OREGON CITY) - Jeep crashed into Clackamas, Ore. apartment 10-12-09 Residents of the Mountain View Apartment complex in Oregon City at 1840 Molalla Ave woke up early this morning at 3:26 a.m. to the sound of a Jeep that drove into the stairwell of one of the buildings.

No one was injured, but upper floor residents had to be assisted down their back balcony by Clackamas firefighters because of the destruction done by the Jeep to their stairs outside their front door. Oregon City Police were on scene and took the driver of the Jeep into custody.

Armed Robbery Suspect Sought in Clackamas County

The robbery suspect is described as a white, male adult in his late 20's to early 30's, about six feet tall, and 220 pounds.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Suspect in a recent coffee house armed robbery in Clackamas, Oregon Investigators in Clackamas County say last Friday just before 4:00 p.m., a male subject robbed The Coffee's On -- a coffee shop located on SE Sunnyside Road, in Clackamas.

Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says they believe the robbery suspect was armed. He reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Missing Oregon City Woman Located by CHP

The CHP located the woman on the other side of the California border.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Jean Knopf is missing from the Oregon City area. 7-21-09 UPDATE: 11:40 p.m. The recently reported missing Oregon City woman has been located by California Highway Patrol, while attempting to cross into the State of California, at the I-5 border crossing.

Jean Knopf is safe and will be provided for and returned home. Knopf was indeed disoriented and indicated to authorities she was attempting to return to her residence in Oregon City.

Firefighters` Blitz Attack Keeps Happy Valley Home From Being Total Loss (PHOTOS)

Home partly saved by quick action of fire crews from Clackamas.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Clackamas Fire crews responded to a large house on fire in Happy Valley this morning at 7:25 a.m. Sunday July 12th. It happened at 12375 SE Eagle Glen Drive in Happy Valley.

Clackamas Fire's Public Information Officer, Steve McAdoo, said, "Many neighbors called and reported everything from massive amounts of smoke in the area to a home fully engulfed in flames. It was also reported that the homeowners were on vacation. They did return to the home."

Homicide Investigation Underway in Clackamas County

The type and nature of the injuries the two victims received are being held back due to the investigation, at this time.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Homicide investigation Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a large fight this morning at 12:49 a.m. at the Monterey Springs Apartments, 8640 SE Causey Ave, Happy Valley, Oregon. The fight reportedly involved 10 to 15 people, located in the street near the apartments.

Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office, says deputies arrived within a couple of minutes of the dispatch and found all parties from the fight were gone from the scene with the exception of a severely injured male.

Clackamas Stabbing Suspect Casey Hatch Turned Himself In

Investigators called the stabbing location in a Clackamas parking lot "a very bloody scene".

(OREGON CITY) - 30-year old Casey J. Hatch Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators say fugitive stabbing suspect, 30-year old Casey J. Hatch; surrendered himself without incident to Clackamas County Jail personnel in Oregon City tonight at 6:00 p.m.

The stabbing victim in this case has been identified as 35-year old Elijah Stanley Antosh, who was initially transported from the scene to a local Portland Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Antosh is reportedly recovering from his injuries and in stable condition.

Clackamas County Sheriff`s Investigators Identify Stabbing Victim Who Remains In Critical Condition

Detectives have identified a suspect in this case and are actively seeking to arrest 30-year old Casey James Hatch.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - Casey James Hatch Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators are now have identified a stabbing victim that was assaulted late last night on SE Jannsen Road, in Clackamas.

This victim is identified as 35-year old Elijah Stanley Antosh of Vancouver, Washington. Elijah Antosh remains hospitalized at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital, in Portland, according to Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Spokesman, Det. Jim Strovink.
