(SACRAMENTO, Calif. ) - Senior Nick Webb scored his second goal of the season in Oregon State’s 2-1 win over Sacramento State Sunday afternoon.
Oregon State (2-2-0) attempted 15 total shots, 13 in the first half alone, while all of Sacramento State’s (0-4-0) nine attempts came in the second half.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Najma Homidi and Rachael Axon both scored their first goals of the season in the first half as the Oregon State women’s soccer team defeated UC Riverside, 2-0, Sunday at Paul Lorenz Field.
Oregon State (3-1 overall) started out the first half aggressively on offense with Homidi scoring the Beavers’ first goal in the fifth minute.
Monica Storm had the assist as Homidi headed the ball into the Highlanders (2-2) net from 12 yards out.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) - The offense struggled and Montana made a second half penalty kick stand up as the Grizzlies defeated Oregon 1-0 Sunday before 428 at Pape’ Field.
The teams were scoreless until the 75th minute when Montana’s Sara Campbell was tackled inside the Oregon penalty box.
Mahlleace Tomsin found the back of the net on the ensuing penalty kick to give the Grizzlies (1-3-0) their first win of the season.

(SPOKANE, Wash.) - Willamette University defeated Whitworth University, 3-1, in the final match of round robin play, before losing to Lewis-Clark State College, 0-3, in the championship match, at the Whitworth Invitational on Saturday.
The Bearcats finished the tournament in second place with a 2-2 record.

(GREAT FALLS, Mont.) - A two-game trip to the state of Montana opened well for Corban's women's soccer team, as the Warriors defeated the Lady Argos of Great Falls, 6-1, behind a pair of goals by sophomore Jessica Matthews on Saturday at Siebel Soccer Park.
As reported by twelfth-year head coach Marty Ziesemer, Corban got goals from Matthews, senior all-conference Megan Waunch, senior Tosha Wilson, and sisters -- freshman Erin and senior Sara Laughlin.

(KIRKLAND, Wash.) - After getting an uncharacteristic night off due to a forfeit by Evergreen on Friday, Corban's women's volleyball team traveled north and swept Northwest University, 3-0 (30-17, 30-27, 30-25), to pick up its second conference victory of the season Saturday inside the Pavilion.
Junior Rashelle Davenport led all players with 19 kills, while freshman Kristen Eiler and senior Ashley Lange added 14 and 6 kills respectively.
For the first time since the 2002 season, Corban opens its conference schedule undefeated after the opening weekend. Read Full Article

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) - Western Oregon battled back from a 2-1 deficit to post a stunning five-game upset of Western Washington on Saturday afternoon in Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball action, 30-19, 28-30, 16-30, 30-27, 15-13.
The win moved to Wolves to 2-0 in conference play and 5-4 overall. Western Washington dropped to 1-1 in the GNAC and to 5-4 on the year.

(ST. PETER, Minn. ) - Gustavus Adophus College scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to rally from a 17-13 deficit and defeat visiting Willamette University, 34-25, on Saturday at Hollingsworth Field.
The win allowed the Gusties to open the season at 1-0, while Willamette fell to 0-2.
Willamette led 7-6 at halftime and held a four-point lead as the final period began, but Gustavus Adolphus moved in front on a 32-yard pass from quarterback Jordon Stolp to wide receiver Chad Arlt on the second play of the fourth quarter. Read Full Article
