The Ducks recorded their ninth consecutive victory after dispatching the Scarlet Knights for the second straight evening at McArthur Court.
Oregon is 9-0 in 2007, and during those nine matches has yet to drop a game in 27 played – a new record for the volleyball program. Read Full Article

Working her way through a super tough top half of the draw, Henin played standout tennis all the way to the title, becoming the first player to step on Serena and Venus Williams in the same Grand Slam and then go on to win the title.

With a commanding 3.132 second victory, Johnson takes a 20 point lead into the 2007 Chase for the NEXTEL Cup.
Johnson beat out Tony Stewart, rookie David Ragan, Jeff Gordon and Johnny Sauter to claim one of the finest trophies offered at any race track.
Going into the Chevy Rock & Roll 400, the big story was who would qualify for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Chase for the NEXTEL Cup.

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) - Western Oregon controlled the football and thus the game during a 32-20 win over Linfield in front of an overflow crowd of 3,800 fans at McArthur Field on Saturday night.
The Wolves had the ball for over 38 minutes in the ball game, compared to 21+ for the visiting Wildcats as WOU moved to 2-0 on the season. The game was the season opener for Linfield.
Western Oregon had nearly 400 yards in total offense and held Linfield to just six yards rushing.

A week after being upset by Appalachian State, the Wolverines were handed their most-lopsided loss in 39 years as Dennis Dixon and the Ducks cruised 39-7 on Saturday. Dixon accounted for 368 yards and a career-high four touchdowns.
Michigan (0-2) has opened a season with two straight losses at home for the first time since 1959 and has dropped four straight, dating to last season, for the first time in four decades.

A 6-1 win over the Mariners on Friday night at Comerica Park gave the Tigers three wins in a row for the first time in over a month and moved them into sole possession of second place in the American League Wild Card.
Manager Jim Leyland said the easiest way for the team to get on a roll would come as a result of quality starting pitching.
