(EUGENE, Ore. ) -  The University of Oregon volleyball team did it again on Friday night. In front of 1,420 at Mac Court, the 20th-ranked Ducks knocked off their second consecutive top-10 opponent, sweeping ninth-ranked UCLA (30-24, 30-28, 30-24).
The Ducks’ back-to-back victories over No. 6 USC and No. 9 UCLA, marks the first time in the history of the program Oregon has registered consecutive victories over top-10 opponents. Read Full Article

Western's last eight-win squad was Duke Iverson's 1985 team (8-2), while Bill McArthur's 1979 team finished 8-1-1. On the horizon is a possible extra game for the Wolves: The Rotary Bowl, held in St. George, Utah at Hansen Stadium on December 1.

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) -  Leada Berkey scored 24 points and Western Oregon led from start to finish as the Wolves won a 79-66 women's basketball exhibition over Concordia on Friday night at the Physical Education Building.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) -  Oregon State senior forward Jodie Taylor has been named first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VIII the College Sports Information Directors of America announced on Thursday. The selection marks the first time in her career the forward has been selected for the honor.

(EUGENE, Ore. ) -  A trio of Oregon women’s soccer players have been named to the ESPN The Magazine all-academic District 8 teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Junior defender Darcie Gardner was named to the all-district second team, while junior goalkeeper Jessie Chatfield and junior defender Nicole Dobrzynski earned third team honors.
