(SALEM, Ore. ) - Junior forward Lauren Miller of Willamette University has been named First Team All-Northwest Conference for the 2007 season, as chosen by the NWC head coaches. Miller led the Bearcats in scoring with 11 goals and two assists for 24 total points during the season.
Kelsey Rogel was named Second Team All-NWC, while Kelli Gano and Kelsey Priest were chosen Honorable Mention All-NWC. Read Full Article

The 5-4 Beavers need one win in their last three games to qualify for a postseason appearance. Washington picked up its first conference win last week (at Stanford) and is still alive for postseason, but the 3-6 Huskies have to win seven games with four remaining due to a 13-contest schedule.

(BOSTON) - The Red Sox and the veteran right-hander Curt Schilling have agreed on a one-year, $8 million deal that could be worth as much as $14 million should he reach all the incentives in the package.
Schilling, who filed for free agency on Oct. 30, returns for a fifth season in Boston after originally being acquired in a trade with Arizona in November 2003.
