Corban's Louvier Named to Third Straight All-Region Team

The senior from Seattle Christian High School averaged 0.55 goals per game, 0.28 assists per game, 1.39 points per game, and 2.90 shots per game as a Warrior.

SALEM, Ore. - Senior midfielder Caleb Louvier capped his illustrious career as a Warrior today when the Corban men's soccer team's co-captain was named as a member of the NAIA All-Region I team for the third straight season.

The 5-foot-10 high-scoring midfielder has been part of the All-Region team following his sophomore (2005), junior (2006), and now senior (2007) seasons, while earning All-Cascade Collegiate Conference recognition following each of his four seasons at Corban.

Louvier led the team in total points with 19 and goals scored with eight. The senior scored the game-winning goal in Corban's 2-1 victory over the Eagles of Northwest on September 26th.

Among the Cascade Collegiate Conference schools, Louvier finished his final campaign ranked 6th in total shots (49), 5th in shots per game (2.88), tied for 7th in points (19), 7th in points per game (1.12), tied for 5th in goals (8), and 6th in goals per game (0.47).

In his four-year career, Louvier has tallied 37 goals, handed out 19 assists, recorded 93 points, and registered 194 total shots in 67 games. In Warrior history, Louvier ranks 5th in both goals and points as well as 7th in assists.

Thanks to his all-conference and all-region recognition this season, Louvier is in the running for his third straight NAIA All-American honor that will be announced following the NAIA National Championship which takes place November 14-20 in Olathe, Kansas.

Corban concluded its 2007 season with an overall record of 6-10-2, 4-8-2 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
