(PORTLAND, Ore.) - "The International Cannabis Business Conference will focus on the emerging cannabis industry in the United States and around the world and provide networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners," said Alex Rogers, CEO of Ashland Alternative Health and Northwest Alternative Health. "Attendees will learn about details and changes in the new Oregon dispensary laws and explore business opportunities in the ancillary fields surrounding the global cannabis industry." The first International Cannabis Business Conference was announced by conference executive producer Alex Rogers following the sold-out Oregon Medical Marijuana Business Conferences (OMMBC) in Ashland and Eugene, Oregon. The event will take place Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. It will feature preeminent cannabis business owners and political leaders from across the globe, as well as an exclusive exhibit hall for cannabis-related industries. Alex Rogers has joined forces with Anthony Johnson, Executive Director of the Oregon Cannabis Industry Association, and Debby Goldsberry, co-founder Berkeley Patients Group and Ambassador at Magnolia Wellness, to produce this unique event. The combined experience of this team provides a solid foundation for both the business and political ramifications in the cannabis field. "I am pleased to help assemble an unprecedented event that will benefit attendees and help further mainstream the cannabis industry," stated Anthony Johnson. "Bringing the cannabis industry mainstream will not only create jobs and generate revenue, but will eventually ensure that all patients have safe access to medical cannabis and end the barbaric practice of imprisoning non-violent citizens who utilize cannabis." "ICBCs’ goal is to provide essential business training to entrepreneurs, bringing together representatives from every major sector of this emerging industry to teach these skills. People who attend the event will leave ready to face challenges and build on successes," says Debby Goldsberry. Speakers will include industry leaders and advocates from both Washington and Colorado, states that have legalized cannabis medically and recreationally, as well as provide information and updates from around the world. Stay tuned for exciting announcements about this first-of-its-kind event. For more information, contact: www.internationalcbc.com _________________________________________
